Papa Johns staff are unbelievably kind every time I am in there. The pizza is great but I really enjoy the fantastic customer service and everyone is always happy. It is refreshing honestly.

We placed a mobile order for carryout and arrived when the “papa tracker” said our order would be ready. When we arrived, we were made aware that it would be another 5 minutes but we could go ahead and pay, so we did. There were several other customers waiting for their orders and it’d been well over 10 minutes since we’d paid for ours so we walked up to the counter to ask if our order was ready. We were told that they didn’t have our order(again, we’d already paid for the order at the counter) and had to argue with the employee that they had our order. My issue is that if people have to wait a little longer than expected and are sitting in the lobby, please do everyone a courtesy of calling out a name.

Crazy high prices. $30 for a lg 14″cheese steak pizza. The pizza was “average ” at best. The same pizza where I live has twice the toppings at and half the price. They were the only delivery option from the hotel I was at (Ft Chiswell). Ill bring a meal with me next time.

Ordered a 3 topping large pizza for take out. It was just over$18 with tax. The pizza was very average, lots of dough in every bite, just ok ingredients and flavor. For $18, it’s not good. The worker was nice. After 9pm in Wytheville there are very few options.

Three times now I have ordered the New york style pizza. It’s not been any thinner. The cheese is not up to the crust. When I picked up this third one the woman working the desk just said yep that’s it. I said I have had it here before made correctly this isn’t it. And it’s not light sauce or the extra cheese I added and paid for.

Worst Pizza in Wytheville, Little Ceasars is hit or miss depending on who is working and the care they put into your order…but always beats Papa John’s. Never again, new items lure us back for disappointment.

Traveling through town 3/29/25 I had a group of 15 highschool friends coming home from Florida on spring break. I ordered 9 pies and went to pick them up. The two ladies at the counter struck up conversation while finishing up the order. They were both beyond kind and courteous. They provided cups and plates which was a huge help. When I told them I would need to make more than one trip to the car because I had so much to carry they immediately offered me help. This is what the service industry needs. Kind, helpful and gracious people who strive to serve. The pizza was hot and delicious. Thank you for the hospitality.

Crust falls of the pizza, the pizza part is stuck to the box. Feel that it was made to thin maybe.
Will need to find food somewhere else now and out the 20 bucks.

Tried using a local coupon that was in the mail. The new cashier bless her heart was trying her best to figure it out. The manager on shift that evening was a terrible manager. Didn’t help her run the register at all, was just making pizza the entire time, even though they already had someone making pizza, and wasn’t even busy, was the tail end of dinner time. She spent nearly 15 minutes asking her manager for help and trying to ring my order of just one large pizza in before finally just walking over to the pizza making manager saying she needs help.
Pizza maker manager then doesn’t try to ring it in the system and says “if it isn’t in our system we can’t honor it”. This coupon was literally mailed to my address from Papa johns in Wytheville. She tried to charge me full price, I told her no, she then rings it up as an employee discount. Still costing more than what the coupon offered, but at that point, waiting 25 minutes to ring up an order and trying to not honor the coupon I gave up and bought it.
It’s just disappointing because it was a really good pizza lol but that manager knows how to make a pizza, just doesn’t know how to train anyone, which explains the turnover rate…
