I ordered a Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and waited for 30 minutes. No update, no heads-up, no one bothered to say, “Hey, by the way, we’re out of it.”
Only when I asked did I find out… it wasn’t even available.
If it’s out of stock, say it from the beginning. Don’t let people stand there like decorations for half an hour.
This isn’t just about coffee — it’s about basic communication. People’s time isn’t free.
I came for a coffee, left with a patience test.
No stock control, no communication, no apology. Interesting business model: act like you have it, then let customers figure it out themselves.
Couldn’t get my coffee, but at least I got a free lesson in how not to handle customer service. You’re welcome. ☕️
If the item is not available, customers should be informed at the beginning. I lost my time and felt completely disappointed. This level of communication is not acceptable.
I expected much better service.
Unfortunately, it has gone downhill badly. There’s an entirely new staff now, and the service is poor. The manager isn’t much better.
I actually go out of my way to patron the Setauket store instead.
As someone who values respect and basic decency, someone who is not entitled, I was shocked by how little effort they put into service, how quickly they snap at customers, and how openly they prioritize their “regulars” while ignoring or belittling others.
This is not the Starbucks standard as they pretend to show it.
It’s hurtful, disrespectful, and unacceptable.
This is STRABUCKS CULTURE PROBLEM and how you as company threat your employees, big picture!
