Coconut curry was tasty and flavourful but sweet. Dishes are small. Didnt feel like good value for the money. Server was friendly but service seemed slow considering there was only three or four other tables. Bathroom was clean.

We had a great dining experience at Mango Tree, because of the excellent service provided by our server Tayyaba . She was extremely polite and professional throughout the meal.
She took the time to describe the dishes and suggest some good options and gave helpful recommendations based on our preferences. We loved chx korma and butter chicken Her explanations made it easy for us to choose, especially since the menu has a lot of variety. Will definitely come because of the service provided by our server and great atmosphere!

I came here with my work team for our morale event and to try out restaurant week.

This location has plenty of parking and the building is large, there were plenty of seating available.

We all tried the restaurant week menu. I ordered the mango lassi. My favorite drink, not too sweet , creamy with a touch of mango. I chose the Somosa chaat, the pick three curry ( butter chicken, chicken korma, and beef curry) with the rice and naan was additional. For dessert I chose the carrot cake with vegan cream cheese frosting.

The samosa chaat was huge! So flavorful, the tamarind sauce was spectacular, it has a bit of sweetness to it. I enjoyed the whole thing, although a little large for an appetizer. I think it would be a great idea if the samosa chaat were mini size, especially paired with the chickpeas. It does have a god kick of spice to it.

My favorite of the three curries was the butter chicken, they were all six ounce curry servings, just enough for a few pieces of meat to sample different flavors. The rice was nice and fluffy. The naan dipped in the curry sauce is my favorite, I could just eat naan and sauce. I do wish the naan was more thick and fluffy, it was more like a tortilla. The three curries with the appetizer was plenty of food for two. I had plenty of leftovers and the curry leftover for the next day was even better!

The carrot cake was moist, with bites of nuts and carrots throughout. The vegan cream cheese was amazing, not overwhelmingly sweet like regular cream cheese frostings. Overall one of the best carrot cakes I’ve had.

Restaurant week was a great opportunity for me to finally try this place, and Indian food!

The food was good. I love Indian food and they had lots of vegan options. However I’ve been places that are much better, but I’ve also been to places that are worse. This place was fairly mid, but definitely not bad if you’re not super picky! I just love Indian food so much that it was still worth eating here. The restaurant itself was nice.

First of all I went to this Mango Tree today 12/26/2025 around 11:45 and both the service and the food were terrible. There was an older lady and a younger guy and the both acted as if they didn’t want to seat me. Finally the younger guy came and sat me and barely served me. He took my order, brought me my food … cold might I add. The waiter barely came and checked to see if I needed anything. The food was so nasty! The curry tasted burnt, the biriyani was so flavorless and the chicken in it was dry. Just nasty! and the service was absolutely awful. The mango Tree downtown is way better. Don’t waste your time going to the one on Nevada St.

Kayla was great. Very professional, friendly, just a nice gal that got everything right. Place was clean, organized, set up well. The food was AMAZING! I had the butter chicken and daughter had the coconut fish. Rice was tasty, and I had enough to take home and share for dinner with hubby. A must visit here in Spokane.

I went to enjoy some dinner out at 8:11 pm with my friends and once we walked in the front, the host just stared at us. I continued to ask for a table for 3 and he just blankly looks at us all ,turns away and scoffs laughing. We all said we wanted a drink menu. It was clear the restaurant wasn’t full at all and he walks away saying he’s going to “look around for some tables.” The restaurant seemed understaffed. Once we were seated the guy lays the drink menus on the table and then walks away. We’ve been waiting for 10-15 mins before we even got any service from the servers. The brunette male server wearing a palm tree black shirt was completely unprofessional and rude to my party and I. The woman server was confused why we were waiting and not being served. I explained our experience to her and she apologized saying the guy was new. I appreciate her assisting us in his section. He seemed selective on the tables he wanted to work with. Anyways, I’m disappointed to write a bad review but this guy never once looked at us or said anything even after he was talked to about not serving us. I’m very grateful to the service given since I work in customer service myself. I know how it goes. I rarely write reviews but this isn’t gonna be overlooked. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. The server needs more training in customer service especially if he works at a restaurant. I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon.

Happy to find the previous pizza place removed and a little more diversity in dining on the north side. Haven’t been impressed with any of the other Indian food places in town as they do not stack up to food almost anywhere else until now. This is our first time eating here and hopefully the food quality remains the same. The level 5 max spice is not spicy regarding heat but there is plenty of flavor. Good job Mango Tree.

Chicken pieces in ‘Veg Biryani’

We have been on a trip to Spokane and Couer D’Alene. We decided to stop at this place called The Mango Tree restaurant at N Nevada Street. The service was super slow.Hardly any one was there at restaurant but being a chain of few restaurants around here we made the worst decision to stop here.

We ordered a kids meal and some veg Biryani for us.

The kids meal was ok but when we started eating the ‘VEG’ Biryani ,my husband found a few pieces of chicken on his plate.

When we called the staff and chef ,The chef (Seemingly a mexican origin guy) looked unapologetic about it and just said we will replace. We had no more guts to try any more dish in this restaurant with such a chef in place.

Btw when we called the chef I heard the staff talking among themselves that the chef is not ready to come so I am not even sure if the person who came out was the chef or just another staff member.

The female serving us did apologise and waived the bill for anything that we had until then. But we deeply regret going to this restaurant and feel so angry about our whole experience.

Please refrain from going here incase you are a vegetarian
