Had a wonderful meal here today. Had the Parmigiana (eggplant) served with escarole. Had their pizza Margherita-wow! Fried calamari melted in your mouth!!!! Service was excellent with Vincenzo and a red haired waitress who were super attentive. On my way out spoke to the chef Angelo, and he was so humble and gracious. Will def be back. 5 stars!!

Great restaurant in Whitestone for rustic Italian food and neapolitan style pizza. Came here for a 16 person lunch party and had a great time. They brought out a sparkler candle for my husband’s birthday.

The food was delicious! The chicken Milanese was very nicely pan fried as was the grilled chicken. The Penne vodka was good but a small portion given the $24 price tag. The margherita pizza was nice but I can’t help shaking the feeling there wasn’t fresh mozzarella on it. Truffle fries and calzone were delicious and they used quality salami in the calzone. The place is was beautiful, quiet, and very friendly staff.

I was unfortunately disappointed when ordering take out from here. The salad as you can see was extremely bland & just did not taste good. Asked for the pizza well done and it def did not match. Also the ricotta tasted cold. The pasta was decent – not bad , not out of this world. I had high expectations due to ratings and the ambience of the spot was very nice but the food did not meet standards. Also not necessarily affordable so def disappointed. Maybe it was take our experience but really shouldn’t be much of a difference.

Beautiful restaurant but the food and service was terrible. We were the ONLY table and still were ignored while staff chatted away. The waitress served steak with no steak knife. We could not get her attention because she was chatting with staff. I had to go and ask someone for a steak knife. She forgot to bring a 2nd dink out. The food was just as bad. The calamari was a soggy mess no seasoning. The ossobuco was not edible hard as a rock and there were no mashed potatoes as listed on menu. Hard pass on this place. It used to be good years ago.

Charged $6 “prep fee” for espresso martinis. Food was pretty good, service was basically non existent. They gave us 1 bottle of water for a table of 8 had to ask for it to be refilled multiple times. I did like the atmosphere and tables were spread apart which was nice.

Loved it! 1. The place is was beautiful, quiet, and the music gave it a perfect touch. 2. Service was perfect too. My fiancé has a very restricted diet and the waiter was nice to let us make changes to accommodate his diet. 2 the food.. oh the food was delicious. Very friendly staff and everything was just perfect. The restaurant also has a great bar.

The sauce on the chicken Parm was insanely tasty, al dente. And the margherita pizza was on point. Will definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
Seating seemed limited, we were sent to the bar before a table opened up, so maybe making a reservation might help.
The place is intimate and nicely decorated, though their population can get loud after some glasses of wine.
