The service was over the top wonderful and accommodating. We ordered egg rolls, egg drop soup, pad Thai, and a vegetable & chicken dish (forgive me, I forgot the name of the dish). The egg rolls were stellar! There isn’t any hot mustard on the table but you can ask for it, the heat is strong on it, but it will help clear the sinuses. The egg drop soup was perfect on a cold day, and was very comforting. My husband enjoyed his chicken and vegetable dish, my pad Thai was not very impressive though, it tasted as though the main ingredient in the “sauce” was soy sauce. I would definitely return to this restaurant, but would want try the vegetable curry dish instead. Oh, and the hot tea was delicious!

Tonight was the first time we have ever ordered from this restaurant. It came highly recommended by several employees that work at Mclaren across the street. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, kung pao chicken (yum, could have used some more chicken though) and general tso chicken. Everything was hot and delicious. The only reason i took away one star was due to the fact that I ordered a quart size of won ton and received the smaller portion. Also, the noodlesnin the won ton had no chicken filling. Otherwise, i would recommend this place and will order from them again

Great food overall. However they do not have actual fried rice. They serve boiled plain rice with some soy sauce poured on it. No vegetables, no egg. The ones with meat added are not worth the price at all.

COME HERE! When I tell you that this was one of the best asian restaraunts ive been to. The duck was phenomonal! So tender and the curry complimented it perfectly. Egg drop soup tasted very authentic, and the fried rice was very flavorful, must I say more? 10/10 must try 🙂

The BEST Chinese food I have ever had. The only complaint I have is that now I know no other Chinese food is going to compare!!! The general chicken was crispy and fresh and the sauce was incredible!! The owners and staff are also super friendly and welcoming. 🙂 I don’t usually write reviews but this place definitely deserves one! Also, the wonton soup—OMG!

I used to be a frequent customer at East Ocean, but after my visit today, I was very disappointed. The recipes have clearly changed and the flavor is not the same — the fried rice was just plain white rice with soy sauce. It seems the restaurant may have changed ownership, as the original couple’s Facebook page is gone and all previous posts have been deleted. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone downhill significantly. I’ll be looking for a new favorite Chinese restaurant.
