This place was great! I got the Fire Burger which was really good, bigger than I expected and my girlfriend got the Rodeo Burger. Mine was fantastic and she said she liked hers as well but tried mine and will be getting it next time instead. There were only 3 employees that I could see working but the service was still good with only a slight wait for our food (like 20 minutes) but we had drinks and menus almost immediately and didn’t mind the wait as they were relatively busy at 6pm on a Saturday night. Overall, I really liked this place and we will definitely come back!

I had the Fire burger. Didn’t need a thing!
Huge! Perfect heat, crunch, the flavor was off the charts. The Clam chowder was the best I have had in YEARS! Really clam meat and lots of them, the prices are excellent!
Is this a fancy restaurant? Nope humble but the FOOD! My new favorite place.
If you are looking for great food at an affordable price. I haven’t found anything better.
I will be eating here a couple times a week.

I can’t even count how many times we have drove past this restaurant and said “we have to try that some day.” Today was the day and boy, I regret not trying it sooner. The burgers are amazing. They are huge! I had the Smokestack fire burger with frings (half fries, half onion rings) and it did not disappoint! The ratio was absolutely perfect. The bun was fresh and shiny, it looked like something out of a magazine.
The staff was great as well! It was the perfect amount of interaction. Not over bearing; but making sure you’re taken care of.
We can’t wait to go back! Also, try the Carmel milkshake! So good.

Full disclosure: I love diners. But even for a diner, which I inherently enjoy, Smokestack Diner is good. Got the burger and fries and a milkshake. The burger was thick and tasted like a hand-formed patty, the bacon was also thick and clearly cooked to order, and my unique topping configuration was accurate.

I really enjoy when a diner has a cozy atmosphere with booth seats, and this location nailed both. Paired with cool photos of this historic building and classic rock playing in the background it couldn’t have been more perfect for me.

Service was fast, and friendly. Will be back, and soon.

On the outside it looks rough – ignore that. On the inside it’s been well worn – look deeper.

Come for the breakfast – stay for the pie.
The food and the service here is top rate. And you will find photos and memorabilia from a bygone era of trains and rolling pins and Americana.

The hash brown sandwich caught my eye right away – unique, crunchy, cheesy.
And the pie is homemade spectacular, satisfying, perfect. They had 8 kinds the day we visited. So many pies!

I ordered th po’boy with shrimp. It rivals any po’boy I’ve had in New Orleans. The spicy slaw is the perfect blend of spice and crunch. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The addition of dill pickle slices made it perfection adding the acidity you expect to a New Orleans po’boy.

Great food, crispy chicken burger and fire burger are amazing. Love the fries.
Could use new carpet and booths. But it’s by far the most reasonable priced with excellent food.

Don’t be fooled by the run down appearance or the diner brown water coffee. Wife and I had the Eggs Benny and the hollandaise was perfectly balanced with enough structure form the lemon to hold up and not make it too rich from the eggs. The hash is also easily the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Service was super kind, and quick! Definitely a good stop over!!

Perfect little diner. I got the Belgian waffle with strawberries on top and my girlfriend got a patty melt. Both were superb. The ranch was to die for!!! Our daughter attempted to eat it by the fist full. This place deserves more business.
