With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

Delicious coffee and friendly barista! I like to taste my coffee and don’t care for the sweet types. I was able to customize my order including asking for xtra hot and that’s exactly what I received! Went through the drive-thru. It didn’t take long. It was a great 1st time experience at the “Human Bean” coffee shop.

The baristas are so friendly and thoughtful here. It’s such a welcoming spot. Delaney (Barista) is a Rockstar and makes people feel like more than just another ticket.
Service aside, the cold brew is so good! I get mine black and it is so savory with an almost chocolate flavored aftertaste. No bitterness or sour taste!
I will definitely be a regular here.

Spent about 20$ including drinks with specialty flavors and the drinks tasted like nothing at all, was about a 20min detour because of the lack of a speaker system so they make your drinks at the window and we were also missing a chocolate covered espresso bean. All in all if you want a nice tasting coffee go elsewhere and if you’re craving human bean a different location is probably best very disappointing experience and I feel the money I spent was wasted

Ordered a cold brew, the barista asked if i wanted vanilla cold foam on top.. I wanted to try it but then it seems as though she just mixed it into my coffee?? It’s very very watered down which you can see in the picture.. it kind of just tastes like vanilla water with a hint of coffee.. I’ve been here numerous times with the same experience and I will not be returning.. dazzle coffee right down the street is much better and doesn’t water their coffee down..

Wow guess this was my trip to any of your coffee establishment !! You order a 32 oz with no ice they give you a 32 oz cup with almost 3″ of liquid missing. You ask for the rest of your drink and they say you ordered no ice so thats what we were told to do by management. The cazy part is when you order a hot 32oz coffee your not getting a discount for not having ice you would serve that to the top! Guess yall will start charging for straws, napkins and the espresso bean on top next??? Ultimate low as a business for yall

Tried this place this morning after a friend recommended it. First of all, you don’t get to the menu until you get to the window so you don’t have time to ponder your order. The teen at the window was no help as she basically just asked me, “What do you need?” I ordered a blended snowy and when I asked for a breakfast croissant with sausage, she said, “We don’t have that”…even though they clearly offered other sandwiches with sausage on them according to the menu. It took nearly 10 minutes to get my sandwich and when I got it, it tasted rubbery as if it had been in the microwave too long. My blended coffee tasted like milk with a little coffee in it. AND after eating the sandwich, I noticed the date 7/17 on it and today is 7/24!!!! I was a whole week OLD!!! For $15, I could have went elsewhere for better service, options and fresher, better tasting food. Waste of my money and time!

Dylani was my barista and was so friendly. She suggested the snowy pumpkin spice iced coffee and it was so good. The coffee was made in less than 2 min as well so very quick when there is no line. Thank you!!

I love coming to Human Bean. Coffee is always great, staff are so nice and location is convenient. Be sure to try their seasonal drinks 🙂 I like the chocolate covered coffee bean on top of each drink too!

Love matcha? 8/10 only because some days it’s flavorful of tea and others just plain milk even with adding a “vanilla” flavor. Likewise, other reviews about customer service- only one barista greets/has an upbeat attitude! Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten her name but she always gets my order/drink correct!
Overall, still don’t hesitate to try this coffee nook!
