The food is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. We are from southern CA and Colorado…so that’s saying something. Everything is fresh and authentic and down right delicious. We stopped here after wine tasting and it was a much needed stop. We loved it.

Standout Mexican food in a non-fussy casual space. We ate inside, even though they did have a shaded patio surrounded by planters with flowers. Had the tacos adobada, rolled tacos, and veggie empanadas. All seasoned well and differently. Instead of basic salsa, we were served something like a pico de gallo but with bits of avocado, cabbage, and cucumber in green tomatillo salsa, served in a large molcajete bowl.
The attached market was loaded with a great variety of foods and gifts. I found mole mix, a tub of caramel and caramel candies, and pocket Taijin seasoning packets. We will be back!

This place is my ultimate guilty pleasure. The meats are so tasty, the burritos are enormous, and the tortas are out of this world. Definitely off the beaten path a bit, but when she brings out a platter of limes and salt for your Modelo, and a molcajete with fresh, hand-ground salsa…there’s nothing better on a sunny afternoon.
