Horrible! I’ve gone to Dickey’s all over the us in my travels and this is hands down my WORST experience ever. This isn’t a Dickey’s at all. Not even close! Brisket wasn’t smoked. Chicken wasn’t edible. Received coleslaw but ordered mac & cheese. Baked beans were cold. Wouldn’t feed this to my pet.

I went on a Saturday like 2 or 3 pm
The place was alone, the guy who works there very rude. The place very hot and expensive.
The food was normal I ordered a sandwich of brisket.

Updated: I went back a few months later expecting the kinks of the service to be worked out. I was mostly right. I ordered online and showed up when they said the order would be ready. They were still out of one of the four things I ordered, and two of the things had to be modified. But they had my order ready other than the thing they were out of when I arrived. They were skimpy on the BBQ sauce this time, but at least I didn’t have to recite my order again and wait forever like the first time. The manager also seemed much nicer this time. They’re just overworked.

The food is awesome, but I ordered for take out online only to find it when I got there their online ordering system is on the fritz and orders aren’t displaying. I should have guessed when I didn’t see the order tracker progressing.
It took 10 minutes for them to take my order (after they got down some Door dash orders). I waited for 45 minutes after they took the order. It would have been worth the wait, but they served a bunch of other people and ran out of most of what I ordered while I waited.
A door dasher told me things are less hectic when the owner is around or during the day.
I’d hold off going here until maybe Jan. 2022 when hopefully they’ll have all the kinks worked out.

I absolutely LOVE Dickey’s. But man something has to change about this location. I tried it once months ago and was so disappointed. I tried it again today and it was worse. I was told they were out of all the sides I wanted. Got half a pound of brisket and its all rubber tough and cold. Baked beans that were the only option I had were as cold as the potato salad. Serious attention needed.

They were out of multiple items. The sausage I received was refrigerator cold and the brisket was tough and dry. Last time I go to Dickey’s.

I stopped in to the Dickey’s in Destrehan La. For the first time since they opened. For a Togo order. I’m was not impressed with the quality and taste of the food. I had a backed potato with the pulled pork. The pork was dry and the potatoes were overcooked and hard. My wife had the potato with the chicken on it and it was dried out also and the potatoes were overcooked. Only good thing about my visit was the employees.

The wings and rib combo was awesome! Cooked to perfection and the flavor just makes your mouth water frfr. The young lady was severely short handed but handled it very professionally!!!

Big menu no options. 3rd time here in a month and menu has gotten smaller from lack of supply will not visit again. Over charged for a no bbq cold brisket burger. Sauce station was not running so the sauce was cold. 1 in general staff member had the not my company not my problem attitude.
