We paid $43 for 3 small sandwiches and 3 drinks. No chips or sides were included. It was only the sandwiches. The sandwiches were dry and had hardly any meat on it. There was no greeting when we walked in the door and we were not told where to order, there was only a small sign way off to the side that we only noticed after we seated ourselves. The staff seemed nice but didn’t really give good customer service.

By far one of the worst lunch experiences since I’ve lived in Ocala. I ordered a large sweet tea with a slice of lemon, BLT w/fries and a Antipasta salad to go. The unsweet tea tasted like plain water, the fries were small, cheap tasting and tasted like they were fried in old oil the BLT was not even a triple decker, cheap bacon and hardly any mayo. The so called Antipasta salad was missing Artichokes, pepperoni, pepperchinos. etc it was a ham & cheese salad. All for a staggering $25.12 This is a very poor excuse of a Deli. Please see attached photos. Also if you really want great food try Todd & Shelly’s now located in Ocala you will be amazed at the taste of thier food.

Great local spot for a good sandwich and friendly atmosphere. They offer selections for breakfast and lunch. You can eat there or to go. Be aware that there is an added charge for using your credit card.

I recently moved from Connecticut and I’m in a state of shock. The only Jewish deli in town and I’ve never seen a “deli” like it before. Nothing on display, coffee tastes old at 8 am. I don’t know where the positive reviewers normally eat, but this town is completely void of decent food. Got in the house and unpacked the bag. I had to take a star off for the food. $2 per bagel for bagels from a bag with a tag that has a best by date 2 days from now. And who gives the atmosphere 5 stars? Again, where do you people normally eat? Do “local guides” get aid for positive reviews. See picture of my onion bagels with lox cream cheese. Wow, that’s not a joke, that’s what I was given.

I enjoyed the old fashioned double cheeseburger, if the bun had been toasted and butter it would have been the best burger in Ocala FL. The magic is in the bread. I paid under ten bucks ( FYI, they charge more for credit cards ) Still the best deal around. Side note they have the best homemade potato salad ever .

I stopped by Southside Deli for my first visit today, the line inside was from the register to the door and there was 3 people behind me waiting in line outside to get it. The staff was very friendly, prices are very reasonable, the time it took to get my food in hand from the time I ordered at the counter was very quick and the food was amazing, everything on the sandwich was extremely fresh and full of flavor. This is a great little deli, if your a sandwich, soup or salad person you must stop by this place.
