Hands down the best service! I called yesterday to place a large order over the phone, and Zachary was incredibly pleasant and customer-oriented. He took the entire order with no problem and even let me email it to him for convenience.
When I went to pick everything up, I was walking back to my car when he came outside calling after me—he didn’t want me to leave without the drink I had forgotten!
Once I got back to the office, I learned he had even called to clarify one of the items for an employee, just to make sure everything was perfect.
I truly hope his manager sees this because his service was outstanding, which is rare these days. Starbucks is very lucky to have him.

The only reasons I give 4 stars instead of 5 are accessibility issues. There is no drive thru at this Starbucks, which I’d be fine with except the steps going up to the door. Then, a step as soon as you open the door! I almost missed it, but thankfully, I didn’t trip myself up. I don’t feel too secure in going there by myself.
I can imagine someone else who has a more challenging time with mobility issues never going to this one. I even asked my husband what he thought and whether I had overlooked any other entrance to get in…So it would have 5 stars based upon menu items and service but these accessibility factors are important to too many of us out here.

I hate to see that this Starbucks has such a low ratings Yelp. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. I grew up in Greenville and I think that this place has well-integrated itself into the surrounding area.
Yes, there are better local places nearby (like Brew HaHa for example) but I must give this Starbucks credit for creating a great space right on the Kennett Pike. They have a wonderful seating area and the exterior in beautiful.
The DO NOT have a drive-through, which I kind of enjoy. This can mean that wait times can be longer but at least you have a nice space to wait.
If you’re craving Starbucks in Delaware, come to this Starbucks. There is ample parking and a beautiful space to wait for your brew!

This is the best Starbucks in the world (yes I’ve been to Starbucks EVERYWHERE in the world too)… the staff is beyond friendly and nice to everyone & work their BUTTS off!! Rush hour can be insane for the Baristas but they handle it like machines & prepare orders in a timely manner. The staff here rocks! Christina, Maddie, Lauren, & Bryan… to name a few but they’re all awesome… & always make sure that everyone has the same great experience that keeps us all coming back!! Be sure to stop in and grab something if you’re ever in the neighborhood.

I truly hate to see this store get such low marks. The staff are friendly and helpful, the store is clean ( do NOT believe these dirty comments- been going for 5 years and NEVER seen that and as a health care provider I do notice when there is an issue). There is no drive through – neither has their competitor around the corner with the over the top decor. This is a friendly place with animated conversation, as well as people working on laptops, and without the ‘pinky up nose in the air’ atmosphere so prevalent in many cafes/ coffee shops in that area. I choose this over many other Starbucks in the area based on helpfulness of the staff.

The previous management and entire team were amazing – since the changeover it is just so poorly run, i’ve been a daily customer for 10+ years – the other day I waited over 10 minutes for a drink as the young lady making the drinks constantly chatted with people she knew. Today – no order ahead which is common place now – I went to the counter, no one even made eye contact. The one team members was more worried about making the “Closed at Noon” sign than waiting on people in line. I waited a few minutes more – could see the people in the store were frustrated with how long it was taking and I left with not one person even looking at the people in line. Store is not as clean as it ws before – no longer a place to do business!

Had some really great service there, I stopped in because my entire family had fallen asleep in the car and I desperately needed caffeine in order to stay awake and the staff were fabulous – found a cup that I thought was amazing and they made my drink in it. Delicious white chocolate cold brew and I took the baristas suggestion of adding a blonde espresso shot to it. 10/10 would recommend. Clean and comfy atmosphere. Would have stayed if my entire family wasn’t passed out in my running vehicle in the middle of the summer Lol.

I’ve been ordering coffee at this location on and off for about 8 months regularly only when I have to. The staff is extremely rude and seem bothered when they don’t make your coffee right and you ask for it to be fixed. On more then a dozen occasions my coffee was made wrong or have had ingredients left out. There’s only 1 employee Georgia who’s customer service is awesome! This location defiantly needs a class on customer service skills. The dmv treats people better then this place and that says a lot… also, it seems cold brew is very popular at this location being it’s sold out by 12pm most days and goes unavailable for over 48 hours at a time. If someone is so popular you would think staff would up the stock.
