Definitely not about the atmosphere here, but the food is AMAZING! Really great burger, fries are also really good. 1st time there, & went based off pictures & reviews. The pics & reviews don’t lie! Little mom & pop type spot which are usually the best….. Definitely 5 stars for the food. Only gave 4 stars for service because I only eat pickles & lettuce on my burger so I asked for extra pickels. She gave me two total. So knowing me, I needed at least 2 more, so I asked for a couple more, & she seemed really put off by the request. Like she had already given me enough. She did give me two more & I thanked her & went on my way.

Posted late review due to investigation unfortunately nothing has been done.
Absolutely disgusting experience at Burger Basket. The place was unsanitary, and I saw what appeared to be cockroach droppings near the food and soft drink area. That alone was enough to make me leave immediately.
This is a serious health concern, and no customer should have to worry about contamination while eating. I will not be returning and do not recommend this establishment until major sanitation issues are addressed.

This is a small burger place in the 626 area. I did not realize of this place after living here for 4 years. There is a small parking lot. They have their A/C on in the cold weather. Because of that, we order our burger to go. We ordered a double cheese burger with fries. I used the Yelp check-in offer for a cheese burger, and a side of fries. The cheese burger is decent to me. The patty was cook perfectly. However, the fries was a bit disappointed. They were soggy. Thank you for the check-in offer. I am grateful.
When I ordered the food, the chef was standing by to get the order ready. He was wearing chef uniform. This shows his dedication and respect for his job. I will come back again to try their fish and chip.

We ordered (2) Cheeseburger, fries, soda combos @ $11.50 per combo. The interior was outdated with a small interior dining area. Everyone would be in your business if you ate in. We couldn’t wait for our food in a stuffy area. When my son came out with a bag, I saw what was given and I stated in a loud voice, “THAT’S IT?” I couldn’t believe the miniscule amount of food from a mom and pop burger joint. Very disappointing first time visit here.

Good little burger spot. Was in the area, so I thought I’d give it a try. I recommend getting a double cheese burger if it’s a burger you’re craving because the patty was a little thin. None the less, it hit the spot.

How about a double chessburger with fries . Excellent fresh made. Juice meat . A must try . Basket burger is definitely a classic place on East LA , where you can get the home made flavor in every item. Some times breakfast hours get pack so be aware of some waiting when showing up between 8:00 am – 9:30am . But is worth it.
