My daughter said she hadn’t ever gone here even though she lives in Shen, so we went. You do have to be prompt if you are going for lunch. It is only served until 1 PM. Of course, we showed up just after 12:30. The menu was simple with excellent choices. The artichoke with fried Nana bread was delicious. They have regular hamburgers, tenderloin, and fish sandwiches. My daughter had the tenderloin and said it was juicy, and the breading tasted great. I had the tilapia fish sandwich with a baked potato, which was prepared well. The service was “really quick” and staff friendly. They had a shrimp basket, and I’d like to try next time. They do reopen for supper. Would definitely return again sometime. The prices were very reasonable. I’m not sure why we hadn’t tried this restaurant before but will not make that mistake again! Sorry no photos, food was devoured .

I thought the restaurant was very nice it had a good atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They said they were a little understaffed which was why there were a little slow but not bad. My tenderloin was very good. We ate with about 12 people and it was about 70/30 that the people liked the food. Meaning 70 percent liked it and would go back. So not bad I didn’t think.

The food was good, I had a chef’s salad, a skewer of shrimp and baked potatoes, my husband had mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad, first time there and I thought it was a bit pricey, and you should go around and make sure coffee drinkers have coffee, we had to constantly ask for refills. But all in all a decent place.

I took my wife out for mother’s day last night. It was our first visit to Sheris, the service was awesome, the tenderloin was delicious, and it was a very wonderful experience. Especially since we have a 2 year old son that doesnt sit still very well and is very social to say the least. Most places I feel are not comfortable for us and our kids to go eat. Not at Sheri’s it was a wonderful family experience

Walked in for supper and they were offering a special. Only one waitress. Sat for 15 min and wasn’t even greeted. Waitress was helping group of 6 and kept looking at our group and was rolling eyes, sighing, seemed overwhelmed. Our group walked out…..would have made over $300 in meal/drinks and over $100 in tips. WOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE.

You couldn’t get a nicer group of people in one place to serve you food. However I was hoping that their food would be upper scale then what it is to match their ability to serve you to the full. However for basic good food which is hot and prompt this is the place. So when you’re in Shenandoah Iowa stop in for a nice dinner bring your date family friendly and clean antique aviance. Wow great food onion rings are the best I ever had. Chicken alfredo was amazing nothing bad to say. I understand that they’re trying, but we waited way too long for our food, it wasn’t hot at all when it did come. Way too expensive. Not enough staff. asked for cheese didn’t get it. never filled drinks. Not coming here again.
