In Summary: NOT BETTER THAN DON TELLO’S. Don’t come close to closing.

Walking in there is an odd smell to the restaurant. Not sure how to describe it… doesn’t smell good. After a minute or two you notice it less.

We ordered: large cheese dip ($10), 10 pc wings, fries & drink combo ($15), Asada Nachos ($10) and 2 Asada Tacos ($3.50 each, $7 total), 1 sweet tea ($2.50). Got refill on both drinks 1x (to go).

Cheese dip came out in a fried flour tortilla bowl. It was real cute except the cheese was not warm. It was lumping up/solidifying at the center. We immediately asked for it to be warmed up. They came back with another one that was clearly not the original one that was brought out the first time. This one was also completely not warm, but it was more of a liquid consistency. We said OK well I guess this is how they serve cheese dip here. Maybe it’s a different type of cheese dip than what we are used to. on the side where jalapeños that were gray green color they did not look fresh or spicy at all… and they weren’t. We also had chips and salsa. Salsa had a thicker consistency. Tasted ok.

A short time later, the Carne Asada tacos came out with the Carne Asada nachos. Both were room temperature at best.

The Asada Nachos had sour cream on them so we asked for it not to have sour cream. Keep in mind, when our order was taken it was not mentioned that sour cream was included. The menu did not state sour cream was on the dish either. We kept the Asada tacos.

While waiting, we tasted the Asada tacos and realized it was not made medium. When ordering we specifically asked for our Asada tacos and Asada nachos to be made medium. The server appeared to write it down and never mentioned anything else about it. I realized later he actually didn’t write anything down though. So I get up and ask the server a second time – mentioning the tacos we have at the table are well done – not medium like we asked and tell him to please make the Asada nachos medium.

They bring out a second plate of Asada nachos but then we see there is still some sour cream on them. More than likely, what was done is that they scraped off the toppings and put new ones on top, but some of it was left over and we noticed it. we bring it to the attention of a different waitress that was walking by at this point. we mentioned that both the asada nachos and the asada tacos are both room temperature at best and that they are not made to medium like we had asked, she takes away both plates and a short time later (8 minutes) they come back with the for the 3rd plates of Asada Nachos and 2nd plate of Asada Tacos – also still at room temperature.

The wings come out and the fries. The fries are super soggy. It looks like pure oil – absolutely disgusting. The wings itself are OK not very good at all.. we ate a few wings. Parts of the wings were warm parts were cold. The rest of it was left behind. They told us the cook used to work at American Deli.

At this point, it is very clear that they are not making this food fresh. Maybe it is because it was 8:15 PM when we walked in and they close at 9 PM.

3 separate plates of asada nachos, 2 plates of asada tacos, 7 and 8 minutes apart – all room temp – clearly made earlier that day – clearly NOT under a heat lamp at minimum. Almost cold!

Then… this meal came to $52!!! This low quality of food for $52 – is a definite NO! We would never come back here. I told the female waitress and the manager we were not happy. I asked what was she going to do about it and thankfully the manager gave us a refund. In Spanish, she told the male waiter, we do not sell anything medium, only well done. Do not let people order medium. It is all already made well done.

Food is a 1 star!!! Gross. Please cook the food as it is ordered. Very unprofessional… 2 stars for service bc you gave us a refund but you should have also offered considering how much problems there was with our meal. 1 star for restaurant. Smells bad. We only came bc someone recommended it we would never had stayed just off the smell alone.

The food was really good. Found this hidden gem from Tik Tok. Server was polite, food came out fast. They don’t serve liquor. We still enjoyed ourselves.

A must go back. Again and again and again. I walked in wanting good Mexican food and a beer. By the time I tasted the salsa I didn’t care about “no beer”!! The salsa is unbelievably good!! The chiles rellenos was amazing! Steak Ranchero was fantastic and over filled the plate! And the Al pastor…. OMG!! I have not one bad thing to say about this place. Even the corn tortillas were excellent!! (We took leftovers and bought salsa to go for the house). That should tell you how much you should try Seis Hermanas!!! P.S the service was absolutely wonderful too!! (Sorry about the pics. We already started eating when I took them)

My food was really good, I got birria tacos, a Mexican sausage taco , horchata and they gave me complimentary chips and dips. The horchata was very good and the chips and dips were really good as well. I didn’t come mainly for the sausage taco but next time I go that’s definitely what I’ll be there for. My taco had so much meat that I used what was falling out my taco for the second corn tort that my taco came on so it was really a 2 for 1. The Birrias were good, filled with meat and lots of cheese. I wasn’t too crazy about the consume that I had to dip it in, I didn’t like the taste but when I used the dips they gave me for my chips for the birria tacos, they tasted amazing. I’d definitely go back and recommend. 10/10 ✊ . And it was a nice environment to eat in very clean, cozy and intimate. I sat at a table and received excellent table service. He checked on me to make sure everything was ok. Bathrooms were clean. Great experience here. $18 is the total I spent. I’d expect to have paid more.Service was very fast as well, received my food within minutes of ordering but it was definitely fresh

The food came out quickly although they were busy. The delicious fajitas were sizzling & the meat was tender & juicy. The waitress was attentive & professional. We also enjoyed the guacamole. The green sauce was a bit on the spicy side if you need to know for your tummy. Lovely authentic music helped provide a festive atmosphere on a Sunday evening. There are not a lot of places open since it’s Sunday, so this place will be a welcomed sight.

UPDATE:

They did it again. The Puousas are golden and incredibly delicious. The Monterey Chicken is succulent and delicious. The fresh Guacamole is phenomenal and the agua fresca is light and refreshing.

They simply don’t miss. The fact the this place isn’t packed is a crime.
Amazing food at an outstanding value. The portion size eas.much larger than expected for the price point.

I will bring the kids next time

I tried their tacos for the first time at the olde town fall festival. I really enjoyed them and wanted to give the restaurant a visit. I haven’t had a chance to come in and experience the place itself, but I’ve ordered food on door dash a few times since then and each time the food has been SO GOOD.

What an excellent find.
Excellent food, fast friendly service. The burritos were big and full of flavor. The chips and salsa were amazing. The cheese dip came in a tortilla bowl so there was a nice cheesy bonus at the end. I will be returning for sure.

Excellent Taqueria! Had the carnitas taco, fish taco & camarone salad. Great tastes & great prices! Carnitas were well marinated and fell apart, super tasty. I was skeptical about the battered fish for the taco, but batter was crispy and thin, the fish fillet was tasty! Took it down in 3 bites. Shrimp salad came with 10 good size shrimps, cooked perfectly, for under 9$.
Will definitely be back!
Plus, they have really good salsas, one is a creamy jalapeño and cilantro topping sauce! It was good enough to use
A it’s own dip!!
Overall it was perfect and I recommend 100%

Every since we went to Mexico we’ve been looking for authentic Mexican food and we found it! The food was just like what we had in Puerto Vallarta, I was pleased and my tummy was happy. Good guacamole and even better Quesabirria With Dip, you have to try it.
