Koobie’s Coffee is a 501(c)3 non profit organization staffed by volunteers of the community. Our menu concept is a bit different. We do offer the usual fare of coffee shops such as lattes, macchiatos and cappuccino, teas, sodas and the like. Anything that satisfies your palette, we can prepare for you within minutes. What sets us apart is that we offer bakery n soups that are made by our members. Our offerings vary and we never know what we will have on any day, but we know it will be delicious. We also offer sandwiches and variety of soups each day, to bakery and sweets to accompany your favorite cup of coffee, tea or gourmet drink.

As a former local I was visiting family for over a month this summer and really wanted to try this place since it is local and close to where I stay.
Unfortunately I was never able to try it because they were either not open (The first week I was here they did not open at all, even on the few days the signs says they are supposed to be.
A few weeks later we finally got a chance to check it out, only to get greeted by …no one. They have big bells on the door when you come in to alert the staff … Yet after waiting for almost 10 minutes and trying to get their attention (they were in the back having a really nice personal conversation). It took us yelling goodbye for them to finally hear us.
Local or not, it is pretty clear why the place doesn’t have the draw to be open daily.
