Since opening our first location nearly a decade ago on Newport Beach’s iconic peninsula, Sessions West Coast Deli has redefined the idea of a neighborhood sandwich shop. Sessions was brought to life from a collaboration between highly driven Orange County born and raised dreamers-slash-entrepreneurs Matt Meddock, Beckham Thomas, and Chef Max Schlutz. We pride ourselves on being relevant, modern, and chef driven, with a commitment to familiar yet premium ingredients. This place is for discerning people. The food is sourced amazingly! It’s not just your average sandwich shop, this place truly entertains your taste buds!
The Thai chop had Peruvian peppers! Mind blown how the flavor was put together!
The summer zephyr and Goodmother lived to its name! The proportions were perfect and I wasn’t overstuffed! It was not messy, and again the flavors was so good together!
Chef took his time to put this together. No shortcuts were taken and expect to get the same quality everytime you eat here.

FOOD:
– the Summer Zephyr, the Sloppy Barney and the Beef are a must try. I’m not sure why their really simple Summer Zephyr is so delicious.
– they make their on chips and it s awesome! The parm cheese on top just make it so good.
– the California salad is really good too
SERVICE:
– really friendly and accommodating
At Newport Beach Restaurant Week they have a $10 dollars menu, which includes a full size sanduíche and a beer!

We both got the turkey with avocado, tomato and sprouts. The sandwich was very good. It is a little on the pricier side, but it is a better quality sandwich than a chain. If you are not starving you probably could split a sandwich with someone, we definitely could have, and brought the cost down. The food seemed very fresh and the atmosphere was great as well. I am glad we stopped in!

Acquaint little sandwich shop out by the beach. Atmosphere was very nice, and the staff were friendly to us. They were more than happy to help guide us to something we would really enjoy, and had plenty of selections including vegetarian and meat selective.
We got the endless mimosa which was a big hit, and a very set of sandwiches all of which were delicious. Their bread is fantastic and I would highly recommend it. The food was filling, and the flavors were complex but not overly so. Overall really enjoyed my experience.

The turkey sandwich with sprouts and peppers was great. You’ll pay a few dollars more than the chain store sandwiches, but it is well worth it. This was my first time here and I’ll back to try the Greatfella. Good craft beer selection on draft.

Wow. I have NEVER in my life been to a cooler sandwich shop besides maybe Cheba hut over in Arizona lol. But that’s probs just bc I love the devil’s lettuce… for real though, me and my family stop by here EVERY DAYUM TIME we are in Newport. My mouth is literally watering right now talking about it lol. We’ve tried pretty much every sandwich they have here and these guys just don’t miss. Buckets for days. INCREDIBLY friendly staff as well. We loooove to see good old fashioned customer service still in full swing these days. Every time I go, a staff member or two will ALWAYS have a genuine conversation with me. And again, the sandwiches are deadly good. We are STOKED to have these guys cater for our wedding next month!
