I needed something filling in the middle of a long, physical weekend. Pizza seemed like a good choice. I headed to Alessandro’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant. It is a small shop with a few seats and tables, as well as having a parking lot! I placed my order and took one of the available seats. I ordered the medium Tsunami Hawaiian pizza and subbed the ham for pepperoni. I know….pineapple on pizza… but I like the salty and the sweet combination. I usually have jalapeno as well but forgot to add it this time. The pizza came hot and looking like what I wanted! The crust is not too thin, or really thick. It had a really nice flavor and held all of the toppings well. Even had half of the pizza left over for the next day! The guy working the counter was busy, but friendly. Even with my substitutions, he was totally ok letting me make the pizza my own. This is a good deal for the price. Good crust that is not overcooked. Lot of toppings, good service. And parking! I live close by, but for those that need to drive here, do it. This is a quality pizza, I need to try the pastas and desserts now.

I tried the Pepperoni Slice when I needed a quick bite today and boy it’s yummy. Nice crunchy crust. Not chewy at all. The cheese and pepperoni were delicious The cashier was very sweet. She gave me some Ranch and Parmesan with my slice as well! This is a golden find. Nice old school pizza shop! I will definitely be back.

This place has like 3 names. I ordered under”AMAZING VEGAN PIZZA” & even though the Cooks forgot to add corn & Cilantro it was still delicious. I work in the service industry, so I’m not going to reprimand by taking away stars because it was still bomb and I know how things can be. My only other gripe is that the pineapple tasted like fish, so maybe it was uncovered in the fridge with seafood. To the owner, just check on those things, but otherwise I’m very happy with my first order, I wasn’t expecting it to taste this good.

I love their pizza!!!! As far as I’m concerned best in Los Angeles. Pepperoni pizza always my go to. I order it 3 to 4 times a week…. and they’re open till 5 Am. I get off work at 1, 2 or 3 AM. And I always get my pizza fast and hot. I do order it lightly baked, though …..I’m not a big fan of burnt crust. It’s always perfect.

Surprisingly a really decent NY pizza and well priced. 5 stars for what it is, obv not an apples to apples with something like pizzana. But half the price and just a very solid NY pie. Crust & dough are excellent and generous toppings.

This use to be Big Mama and Papas with good pizza ! What we bought yesterday was expensive, disgusting and the service was terrible. I don’t see how they can stay in business. I would not recommend this place. If you don’t believe me. Try it yourself
