I came here with my girlfriend for a valentines day dinner. They were able to squeeze us in since we didn’t have a reservation. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and we had lunch for the next day from left overs. The food is made to order and at some point the owner to the cook came out to greet us. This spot also has amazing sweets in thr front. It might appear to be a take out only place but this is fine dining at a reasonable price. Will be back sooner than later!

I’ve been wanting to try Dante’s Italian Bistro and Pastry Shop for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did. I noticed they were running some phenomenal weekly dinner and pizza specials, and I honestly couldn’t believe how affordable everything was for the quality of food they’re offering.
When I went in to pick up my order, the gentleman at the front was incredibly kind, down-to-earth, and genuinely authentic. We ended up chatting for a bit, and I mentioned how I’d been wanting to try the place because everything looked so real and homemade. I was especially drawn to a photo of their chicken cutlets — they literally looked like something my grandmom would make.
He shared that everything is pretty much handmade, their sauces are made from scratch, fried foods/sauces are made to order, and they don’t use filler ingredients or junk in their recipes. That meant a lot to me, because I really try to eat real food as much as possible. Knowing this place is run by a father and son made it feel even more special.
I was completely overwhelmed by how amazing all the desserts looked and couldn’t decide what to get -he helped me choose, and everything was incredible. My pizza was amazing, and you can truly taste the care and quality in the food.
It’s definitely a no-frills spot, but it has that cozy, homie feel where you know you’re going to get good food made with love. I’m already excited to go back for their Valentine’s Day dinner special. Highly recommend if you want authentic, from-scratch Italian food at a great price.

Best gnocchi ever! The sauces are all homemade and you can tell, everything smelled so good and when you walk in there is just a wall of pastries I definetly will be coming back to try each one. New take out regular for us.

There is a father and son who own this restaurant. The food is entirely made from scratch, certain cheeses are even homemade. We’ve been to Italy so this reminded me a lot of Italy. Simple, delicious food. My husband got their ravioli and I got their chicken mushroom creamy pasta. I felt like I was eating out of my moms kitchen. It was prepped fresh, and made with real ingredients. Thank you for the deliciousness you made today. We even took home cannolis made from scratch, they don’t buy premade shells! It’s holiday season, so right now they have these beautiful cookie trays, perfect for gift giving!! All the pastry and cookies are made from scratch, I think you get my point now . It’s real food, humble people, and real ingredients!!

This place is incredible. I split the Dante’s special pasta with the other 2 people I went as well as the chicken parm pizza. From my first bite into these foods I was blown away. The food is so fresh and homemade. The desserts are also incredible. Best cannoli I’ve ever had! It is run by a father and son who are so nice and we loved talking to them. Will definitely be coming back!

First and foremost, Sunny, who I believe the owner is, was very friendly and courteous.
The presentation of the food is all over the place and appears to just be thrown in there. In addition, the flavor was very lack luster and the gnocchi didn’t taste fresh nor homemade. The shrimp was bland and the chicken breast was on the dry side.
They had plenty of deserts for sale, all of which looked good.

Dante’s is a hidden gem, the food was delicious!!!!! You can tell it is authentic Italian and made with love. The owner was so kind and accommodating to me. I dont get down to phoenixville often but when I do this is my go to spot. Best part is Im leaving stuffed and have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommend!!!!

So much so I couldn’t wait to go back. Currently enjoying the best spicy Italian hoagie and a piece of fresh baked strawberry shortcake.
You can tell everything is made with care. The sandwiches are delicious as well, loaded up too, no skimping here! The pastries are beautiful and fantastic and fresh. I always go with a suggestion or two on what’s new or good on the menu! They have all the Italian classics too like cannolis, biscottis, Italian cookies in addition to other baked goods. I am very much looking forward to trying everything they have to offer (I’m sure the pizza is going to be fantastic).

I love Irish Soda Bread and every March we try several loaves from different stores and bakeries. Last year we found the Irish Soda Bread at Dante’s Italian Bistro and Pastry Restaurant to be among the best in the area. I stopped in today and was so glad they had it again! I picked up a few loaves both with and without raisins. Once again I think it is the best in the area. The bread was fresh, delicious, and just sweet enough that one can enjoy it plain but not overly sweet like some of the soda breads. I’m going to make it a point to try some of Dante’s more traditional Italian treats but I am also already looking forward to next year’s Irish Soda Bread! Great job!

LOVE their pizza and cannolis! We usually get the pepperoni pizza ‘well done’ and it’s packed with pepperoni, not sparse at all. Cannolis are filled to order so they’re not soggy. We’ve also tried the coney island pie and a bunch of the desserts, and they never disappoint. Family that runs the business is always friendly. Best pizza in Phoenixville!
