I ordered food to go, and what I received was honestly unacceptable. The chicken was tossed into a flimsy, unlined cardboard box that had zero chance of holding up. Oil and liquid were already leaking through the bottom before I even left the restaurant. By the time I got home—less than 10 minutes later—the box had completely collapsed, the bag was soaked, and liquid was dripping everywhere.
The chicken was literally sitting in a soggy mess of dissolved cardboard and grease. Completely inedible. I had no choice but to throw the entire order straight into the trash.
For a business in the food industry, this level of carelessness is shocking. Proper packaging isn’t a luxury—it’s the bare minimum. The lack of attention to something this basic shows a clear disregard for customers and their food safety. Photos attached.

I had an amazing 1st experience at Peri Peri original. The restaurant was clean & the staff was courteous with a top service. I ordered 1/4 grilled chicken with lime & herb & 1/r grilled chicken with extra hot sauce. It was literally finger lickin good. My kids ordered chicken wings with extra hot sauce, Hot Nashville chicken sandwich & chicken tenders. As per my youngest the food was 10/10.

We had Peri peri original before but this newly opened Ashburn location is just too good! We already been there three times and all the times our experience was amazing! We usually get the whole chicken, wings and rice but yesterday we got their burger too and wow what a burger it was! It was bursting full of flavours! So juicy and so flavorful!
What makes this place more amazing is their friendly and polite service. The brother in the front is very nice and always takes care. Plus the place is neat and clean and bathroom is clean too.
Would definitely suggest everyone to try them out and must try their garlic sauce. The garlic sauce takes the taste to a different level. This place is fully Halal place so enjoy!

Quality has gone way down. Ordered a chicken sandwich and if you squint really hard with one eye closed, you might be able to see the chicken. Smh unacceptable.

Amazing food and great staff! I had the American Smash Burger and the honey garlic chicken sandwich. I also had potatoe wedges, fries and wings. Burger had a very authentic smash burger taste, with the crispy edges of the meat and a great bun to hold all the flavor in. The chicken sandwich was excellent, juicy very tasty and quite a large piece of chicken. I prefer wedges so I ate those over the fries and the wings were very nice, a bit small but snack size is always a great size 🙂

Great place to go for a quick, easy, tasty meal. It’s a bit on the spicy side, but if you like that, this is the place for you. The flavor of the food is still good through the spiciness. Very friendly staff and clean environment.

Very good spot, never heard of it but absolutely matches price point. The chicken burrito was massive.. the chicken sandwich was pretty big too, two big ol chunks of chicken for the sandwich, full of flavor and the extra hot was just right ☝ mango milkshake was great too! Will def have to visit again!

Excellent PeriPeri grilled chicken over salad. Delicious mango lime flavor, and the red and white sauces were yummy as well. I had the grilled strip salad and it filled me up. The chicken was tender and flavorful, but a little too much tendons in it. Kitchen or meat provider could stand to do a little better attention to prep-work to remove the chewy parts.
Food came out fast and the cashier brought it to our tables. I thought this was a place where you wait for your food at the counter, so that was a very nice surprise. Need smiles from the staff to get 5 star service from me though!
