Came here on a Sunday afternoon and wasn’t super busy. The food was okay, too overpriced. I got the snow mountain roll ($15) which didn’t match up to par with the price. Looked pretty, but taste was average for a sushi roll, the rice seemed a little dry and the seared fish was a little overcooked for my taste. My moms Malaysian locksa noodles were better but still tasted like a little cheap and was lacking flavor and the meat was dry.
Service was also subpar, the one waitress we got was not a pleasurable person, though I noticed the other one that helped us a bit was nicer. My mom came here with a group for someone’s birthday and they did a complimentary birthday ice cream but when we came back with our family and we asked the lady if they did they said no. Then when we said we were here before she said I can get you some ice cream, so we got a little scoop. For the quality of food and service the prices should be 9-14 average, not 14-24…

Walked in and the hosted said “Yeah?” Instead of “hello” or “how many” or “to go order?” My waiter was very attentive. I ordered 2 appetizers and some white rice. There were all out of the Red Parrot Samosa, so I had Veggie spring rolls and Malaysia Roti. The oil on the spring rolls had a different taste to it. Not in a good way. Almost like they need to change the oil in the deep fryer. The Malaysia Roti was supposed to come with a peanut sauce. It was a bit greasy and was served with maybe a watered down peanut curry. Overall the white rice was the winner of the 3.
Great server, terrible host, fail on the food.

Place is still kicking after all these years. Some good options here; pork buns are pretty good and most of the entrees are solid. People have been friendly but we’ve also had some characters over the years. I think they do trivia on Wednesday nights but we’ve never participated. Not bad…

If you love good sushi this is your spot. The food is always amazing. Oh and the Asian pear saketini is dangerous. You’ll probably be on #2 before your food even gets to your table!!

The wonton soup was good, the thin wrappers and a decent broth. The sticky mango rice was horrible and a tiny portion for the $.

Service was excellent and food was great! The waiter was an absolute sweetheart and came by our table any time we were low on drinks and got us more! I wish I had gotten his name because he was awesome.
There was another kind gentleman who checked in on us occasionally ( I was not sure if he was a manager or owner ) and brought us bags for our leftovers.
Be forewarned that most of the menu items are spicy, VERY spicy. But it’s a good spicy!
Overall I would recommend this place. The hospitality was wonderful and I will be returning again in the future.

Just ordered from doordash to try some sushi for the first time since my disastrous stint in a buffet 12 years ago. It was honestly amazing, much better than I thought it would be considering past experiences even if it was good. The prices are also great compared to many other restaurants in the area.
My only complaint was I had ordered some General Tso chicken with it in case I wasn’t a fan of the sushi or to eat later but the container had managed to open and was spilled all over the inside of the bag.

The menu items I ordered were delicious with a visually appealing presentation. Especially enjoyed the delightful and engaging interaction with the bistro owner. Prices and portion sizes were reasonable and the wait staff was great. Great atmosphere forlunch or dinner. Will definitely return again for future dining experiences.

Went for lunch on a Friday and ordered sushi. The restaurant was empty, which was a surprise. However the service was outstanding and made the experience much better. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and everything tasted great. Overall the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Prices seemed reasonable for what I ordered.

Clean, well lit, attentive service, good variety. Seaweed salad was delicious. Sushi presentation was lovely. Ginger was fresh. So why 2 stars? We ordered 3 varieties of spicy rolls. There was little flavor (no spice) and each was filled with what appeared to be identical ground filling…as if it was put through a food processor. Texture was like ground baby food. Very disappointed. Would not go back for sushi.
