I ordered a sandwich, wings and a pizza. The young lady that took my order was absolutely amazing and the manager I dealt with was amazing too. I ordered this the night of the 11th or 12th I believe, im just now getting around to the review. I asked the young lady if they could make the wings extra crispy and that wasn’t a problem at all. The young lady forget to hand me my pizza but I feel like im at fault for that partially for forgetting I ordered a pizza haha. The sandwich was okay. The stems from the peperoncinis were a downside but oh well. The pizza and wings were great though.

I normally don’t complain about things, because I believe everybody is human and make mistakes. That’s how we learn!
But this one has me scratching my head.
Let me preface this by saying, I have eaten at Mazzios for over 50 years, and have not had one bad experience, until last night. (Tues. 7/30/24). My boyfriend and I were at this Cushing, Oklahoma Mazzio’s ( 2234 E. MAIN St.). We went in, ordered a large 1/2 Greek and 1/2 cheese hand-tossed crust pizza, to dine in. Along with side salads and drinks. The young lady that waited on us, was sweet. We ate our salads and waited on our pizza, which I’m guessing was about 10-15 minutes. Which was fine!
But the pizza was brought out, and the whole pizza was a Greek. I don’t like Greek, that’s why I ordered my half, cheese. So we told the girl, (same girl that was at the cash register), she apologized and took it back.
( it ended up on the all-you-can-eat buffet table. Which was fine with us). Then about 10 minutes later she brought out a large pizza, that was 1/2 Greek and 1/2 cheese, but it did not have any marinara sauce!
We told her it didn’t have sauce on it…she went to ask someone in the back, then came out and said that they don’t put marinara sauce on 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas. Well at this point we were getting frustrated, so we had her bring us a to-go box and cups, so we could leave, before we got MORE frustrated. There were 4 other people in our part of the dining room, and they were shocked with everything we had been through. One of them said this was why this particular Mazzio’s never has anyone in it, because service is lousy.
And to be honest, we didn’t eat any of it, after taking it home, because we were a little leary. Not one time, did anyone else come out and apologize and try to make things right, except the young lady who brought out the pizza. I wasn’t expecting a refund, I just wanted the pizza to be done right!
This is the first time I’ve been to this Mazzios, and definitely won’t be back.
But I will continue to go to the ones that I am familiar with.
Is it true that you don’t put marinara on 1/2 and 1/2 pizzas? Again, 50+ years of eating Mazzio’s, and never heard of this.

We had not been to a Mazzio’s in a while as the one local to us was closed. However, we stopped in to the Cushing location for lunch! The calzone was the best, it was perfectly cooked, we also got a sandwich which my husband really enjoyed. We also took part in the salad bar, which I wouldn’t do again. The lettuce wasn’t too cold and the ham was very.. gooey and stringy.. definitely didn’t look right so we stayed away from that; other than that the salad bar had a good selection! The restaurant was cleaner than other Mazzio’s we’ve been to! Overall we would definitely stop back in for a quick pizza!

Haven’t been in a couple of years. The loaded bread sticks were good. Got a medium Supreme thin crust pizza and a six meat medium pizza. Granddaughter got the six cheese pasta. It was really good. They were not busy at all. It was nice and peaceful.

Someone delivered pizza to my house and when I got it it was supposed to be stuffed crust and both of the large pizzas where hand tossed . Not only that . On the cheese pizza all of the cheese was centered into the pizza. The pepperoni pizza I was supposed to get turned out to be a sausage pizza with mushrooms. Is this a joke? I was a loyal customer but now I rather go to Pizza Hut.

Spent $70 on the buffet and there is no salad and after 30 minutes of waiting no pizza came out. Literally had 2 slices of old hard pizza and went elsewhere. Won’t be back.

Honestly; I stopped coming here for a few years but we started coming again about a year ago & it has become our favorite pizza spot!! We get the family favorite meal deal. Which is a 2 topping pizza, calizone & dippers (we always pay extra for the loaded dippers!) for $24.99. We switch up the pizza that we get but it’s always good! We get the ham, bacon, cheddar calizone because we love Mazzios ranch! They make it in house and it’s not from a bottle. We usually pay for a few extra! So good. As mentioned above, we get the loaded dippers & it is a little extra cost but it’s SO worth it! They have bacon, Jalapenos, Pepperoni (Quartered), Red Onions, Sausage, Tomatoes. I don’t think there is sauce on the loaded dippers but you get to choose marinara or ranch to dip it in. Pick the ranch! We like them so much, I have been making them at home on a loaf of French bread! But it’s really not the same!
When we come inside to eat, it’s always clean and staff is nice. The salad bar is pretty good usually!

They tell you 20 to 30 minutes then when you get there they tell you they’re still working on it and to move forward and make you sit another 45 minutes to an hour. I understand things happen but this is the 3rd time in 6 months with no apology or discount

The lady taking my order was very hospitable. I ordered wings and bread sticks. Everything was made perfectly. I believe it was the supervisor there that had a great attitude as well. I recommend if you are in the area.
