A Lafayette favorite and wonderful Greek restaurant serving delicious fried shrimp and fresh cut French fries. The owner and chef, Aristos does a wonderful job on his Mediterranean restaurant. His food is delicious. I had the chef chicken fry my lamb chops and found them delicious. It’s a great way to eat them.

I recently experienced an exceptional Greek meal. The chef masterfully prepared grilled octopus and calamari, complemented by an exquisite garlic and butter sauce. The lamb chop, served atop chicken pasta, was a delightful combination. The ambiance was superb. I highly recommend this establishment. The only suggestion is to bring a pillow for a nap after. Finally made it to Poseidons to try the Lamb chop over shrimp pasta and it was delicious! Atmosphere was great, very lively. We tried the appetizer plate which was a wonderful start to the meal. Can’t wait to go back.

Got the combination platter which comes with soup or salad. I chose the Greek salad. Not bad, I appreciated the fresh strawberries and hint of mint. Only one olive though, and very little feta cheese. For the combination platter: the chicken shawarma was so dry it was not edible. the pork souvlaki was a little less dry, but still overcooked. The beef and lamb gyro was actually quite good and fairly moist. The potatoes were just okay. The service was marginal at best, borderline terrible. Young teen girls, some more interested in socializing with the teen boys at the bar and others doom-scrolling on their phones. Assessment? I wouldn’t come back. Nothing wowed me, some of it was actually pretty bad, and the service was not great.

The place was well decorated and ready for Halloween. I had the Mousaka and Spanakopita. Both were good. Service was quick and polite. We’ll stocked bar. Found one of Lafayette’s Pelicans On Parade here.
