I’ve been there twice so that says something. The first time I got Fritay and Diri Kole ak poul Fri Everything was good and tasted fresh. Although I’m not a big fan of Marinade theirs is good and flavorful. The second time I got the Grande Plate so you get a taste of everything, very delicious. Lots of food 3-4 people can eat with the grande plate. They’re very generous with the portions, Good customer service. It is a food truck so limited seating it’s more so so carry out. Give them a try if your in the area ❤️

The food here is definitely delicious. I’m thrilled that we’re seeing more Haitian restaurants in this area. However, there are a few things that could be improved. For instance, the chicken is often undercooked. This might just be a personal preference, but sometimes it’s pink or I can see some blood on the bone while eating it. The pikliz also lacks salt. Again, I’m not sure if this is a preference, but that’s just my opinion. Lastly, the sauce that comes with the griyo platter is lacking in flavor and salt. It feels like they just used the boiled water from the pork to put in a container. I was expecting a red sauce with the onions and other ingredients, but either way, I think it could definitely use some work. Despite these minor issues, the food is great, and I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Hands down the best Haitian food I’ve had in Tampa. I got the grande platter with chicken, griot, pikliz, bannann peze, macaroni, accra, marinad, all cooked to perfection. It tasted homemade and the owners are great! Huge portions, full of flavor. Don’t sleep on Lavallée — this is the one!

Lavallée Cuisine is hands down the first Haitian restaurant I’ve been to with amazing customer service! I love the owner’s attitude — very friendly and welcoming. When I spoke to him on the phone, it felt like talking to an old friend. When I came to pick up my order, he even came out to say hi and personally thanked me for the support. That kind of genuine appreciation is rare, especially since most Haitian restaurants act like they don’t need your business.
And the food? Absolutely delicious! Most Haitian restaurants, when you order Fritay, only give you fried plantains and griot. Not here; you get marinade, akra, fried plantains, and griot. The portions and variety were spot-on.
Lavallée Cuisine, please keep it up! You’re solving a big problem in the Haitian restaurant scene. Don’t change just keep getting better. You’ve earned a loyal customer!
