The most unforgettable experience. My husband and I moved to Ellicott City 6 months ago and wanted to stay local and find a nice restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We saw online that Tersiguel’s was a tasting menu and we didn’t know much else and were excited for the element of surprise. And what an incredible surprise it was! The minute we walked in and were welcomed by Charlie and Lisa I knew we were in for a treat. We had no clue what each course was going to be until the plate hit our table and every since thing we ate was so creative and delicious. We had the best salmon of our lives and each course just kept getting bigger and better. While the food and wine was amazing, the service made this whole experience top-tier. Charlie and Lisa were so personable, kind, and warm. I can’t wait to go back to see them again! If you’re thinking about going to Tersiguel’s, don’t walk, run!

The food was good. Consisted of 7 courses including dessert. There were a couple that we didn’t care for, but most of the entrees were delicious.

I was expecting it to be a bit more formal than it was. It didn’t affect the overall vibe, however.

Everything was served in a timely manner, and the cocktails were great. The servers were nice

We will definitely be back. As the other reviewer mentioned, come hungry as the positions are decent-sized and you will be full at the end of the meal.

My best piece of advice – come hungry! Seven courses and they’re all very generous proportions. Drinks are excellent, and the dining experience is superb. The owner is so lovely and you can see all the care and consideration that goes into each dish.

When a restaurant makes you want to come again but fully dressed up in a tophat, you know it was amazing. From the food, service, and atmosphere. Have an open mind because they serve you various things, but it was all delicious. Even the squash, and I don’t even like it. Amazing experience and well worth the money if you are in to trying something exquisite.

A luxurious and decadent dinner, with a certain novelty to it. You don’t get any choices except for drinks, as the chef hand picks the menu for you – so all we had to do was sit down and wait for all six courses to start flowing. Our servers were highly professional and made sure we always had exactly what we needed, and I don’t think we ever waited more than a minute or two when we needed something. The food itself was intricately complex and delicate with flavors and ingredients I’ve never had before – monkfish, escargot, veal and many other things. A neat experience, but given the price tag I don’t think I’d be able to justify going too frequently.

two pro tips if you’ve never been before:
1. drinks cost extra!
2. don’t eat too much bread! Even though the servings of each of the courses is relatively small, we found ourselves full before too long.

This was our first time here and it was absolutely amazing. Our server Charles, who has been there 30 years was top notch, personable and funny. We spent the first part of our honeymoon in France, so we came here for our 3 yr anniversary and it did not disappoint! The 6 course meal was to die for. Everything was made to perfection and delicious. The wine and champagne were very good as well. They offer wine pairing with each meal but we opted for champagne and red wine. The Lemon Olive Oil cake was a perfect end to a perfect meal. It is definitely worth the money if you love amazing food, amazing atmosphere and want to relax for a few hours. Thanks for making our anniversary a very memorable one!

It is the of an era. So sad to this wonderful restaurant close. The place itself is in a beautiful old house in the heart of Elliott City. Cozy it is. They serve a 5 course French tasting menu . Soup, escargot, salmon, duck, beef tenderloin, and dessert. Every course more delicious than the one before. We’ve been enjoyin meals here for more years than seem possible, including over the top neuveau Beaujolais parties. The bottles were flown into town the day the were released in France and served for dinner in Ellicott City, replete with Can Can dancers and a great meal. So much fun and great food. We even had them cater our wedding. Teriguel’s will be missed but certainly not forgotten. Good luck to the new owners.

It’s been a few years since we were last here (back when we lived up in Columbia), and man how I missed Tersiguel’s. The six course dinner was such a memorable experience, and I got to try dishes I’ve never had before. Along with the courses I chose the wine pairing for each, which elevated the flavors even more. Out of all the dishes last night, the Skate was most memorable as it was the most unique. It was poached and had a butter sauce with curry/capers. So delicious and I’ll never forget it! If your looking to be adventurous, the six course weekly changing menu is worth it! I do hope to see the crepe suzette desert again. Amazing service as always, and Charlie is such a great/passionate host.

We were delighted with our return visit to Tersiguel’s after not having dined there for some time. We loved the six-course chef’s menu dinner. The food and service were excellent. Charlie, as usual, was an excellent host to a wonderful dinner with friends.
