What we ordered: chirashi don w/ diff flavored sashimi, dragon don (unagi), takoyaki & chicken karaage (as BOGO on doordash)
– the bowls are DELICIOUS. I ordered a tuna tataki bowl previously from there before and was so impressed by the quality of fish for the price, so we ordered these for dinner one night. So impressed by both the unagi and flavored fish. It’s so worth for sub $20!
– takoyaki and chicken karaage were just ok. We ordered bc of the BOGO; wouldn’t get it without that deal
Definitely would come back!!! But maybe not to dine in, since other reviews note the place is rather small? Presentation was so well done also, for takeout.

The Bop Sushi Place on 3rd Street, left much to be desired. The sushi lacked freshness, and not taste very good. The ambiance was rather dull. The service was fast, and the prices were ok by the mediocre quality of the dishes. Overall, it is a forgettable dining experience. I’m not happy at all.

Really quality fish-dons at a reasonable price in the area! It’s a takeout spot than sit down but there are a few tables that you can sit and eat at if you need to.

We ordered online through Yelp for pick up, and the food was ready by the time we arrived. There’s only street parking and the store doesn’t really have any seating area so it’s best for to-go orders anyways.
Kalbi Bowl ($20.95): This order comes with a miso soup and salad. The salad has a great dressing. The miso soup wasn’t salty and just perfect. The kalbi wasn’t in a bowl like the dragon don. It was a 2 compartment box where the smaller side was the meat and the larger side the purple rice. Love the fresh pickled radish and cold temperature contrast. The kalbi was cooked well and lightly marinated, but not amazing enough for us to keep coming back.
Dragon Don ($19.80): This don also came with a miso soup. My husband loves unagi and said this don was okay.

Driving through the area and spotted this little spot serving up some delicious food. The Bop is tiny, small tables, good music and friendly service. The menu offers a lot of options and I couldn’t decide what to order. I finally chose the bulgogi bowl and it didn’t disappoint. Great container to keep the food fresh and once I at down the flavors and textures were very satisfying.

Good lord this gotta be the best chirashi bowl I’ve eaten in my life since I got to LA. Incredible fish quality, rice is warm and good, the crab salad omg. I am adding Boo to my top 10 lunch places do yourself a favor and run here get a taste, service is great too thanks sir
