Classic Chinese dishes are doled out with beer & wine in a cheerful, modern dining room.

Tely’s is a FLAVOR EXPLOSION! This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. The white tablecloths, excellent service, variety of menu offerings, and quality of food, along with very reasonable pricing say this is a different experience.
Our menu selections included lemon chicken, asparagus chicken, shrimp with nuts, eggplant, stir fry vegetables. Everything was delicious, especially the eggplant… a unique savory flavor. Kevin offered outstanding service and, even though the restaurant was full, we did not notice an elevated level of noise.
Tely’s is now on our do-not-miss restaurants, and we don’t have many on this list. We are excited to try other offerings on the menu.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. We saw one couple turned away because they did not have reservations.

I had a huge desire to try Telys’ food, and I finally did! The atmosphere was elegant, the staff was excellent, the food was delicious, and the customer service was great. I highly recommend making a reservation! Everything was spotless, and after dinner, the owner came over to ask how everything was! Definitely 100% recommended! À la carte menu available!

American style Chinese food with iconic history in the area.
Food: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: 4
Cost to worth it rating: 4 (most apps under $10 and dishes under $20)
Opentableable: no, need to call for reservations
Highlights:
– Mongolian beef: packed with flavor steak slices with a kick. 4.5 stars
– Egg roll: large and crispy with fresh ingredients inside with slices of chicken and cabbage and carrots. 4.5 stars
– BBQ pork: tasty small plate appetizer with thin slices of pork devoid of much fat. 4.25 stars
– Chow fun: thinner version and not oversauced. 4 stars
– Duck: didn’t have a full Peking Duck spread but a half duck with enough meaty pieces and a few standard boney ones. My son gobbled it up. 4 stars
– Atmosphere: big room with lots of photos of visitors on walls (featuring many astronauts), dim sum baskets on the back wall, and red lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
– Service: very nice waiter from China and saw Tely eating at a back table towards closing time
Midlights:
– Sizzling steak: steak was tender but an odd texture and the sauce was very salty. 3 stars
– Fried rice: bit plain and pork wasn’t the cha sui pork I was expecting. 3 stars
– Lemon chicken: chicken breast pieces were large thin slices but didn’t have much flavor in the sauce. 3 stars
Lowlights
– Black bean sauce fish: I’ve always had this with a white fish and believe this was salmon which I don’t care for. 2.5 stars
– Very popular so need to make reservations way ahead of time. They only had 8pm available few weeks ahead for a Tuesday night.

This place is a great find with delicious food. I would argue the best Chinese in the area. Its small, so make a reservation. Or get takeout if you cant get in. The wait staff is interesting. This place wants to be formal, but it’s not that type.of.place. its a nice place to go. So look presentable!! Now the food is great!! You may have to ask what is in the dishes, as the menu is not super descriptive. And chinese food can be subjective. Flavors are great! We had Sezchaun green beans, General.Tsos Chicken and Ja Jeong noodles. All.were very good. You can bump up or lower spice if needed. Ours were perfect.for.what we liked. Ordered to go another night. Got chicken egg rolls. Very greasy. Main dishes were Hunan Chicken and Chicken with String beans. Both hot and great! This is a hidden gem!

We were visiting family in the area who frequent Tely’s, but this was our first time there. My wife and daughter have allergies, so we typically have difficulty finding a Chinese restaurant which is accommodating. This place certainly is! Tely came out to patiently explain what they can prepare, and there were many options! I had a delicious beef chow fun meal (no allergies). My wife and daughter (gluten, dairy, and soy sensitivity) had a nice selection of wonderful options. They had a chicken seaweed soup, a chicken dish, a shrimp dish, and fried rice….all specially prepared. First time they`ve eaten Chinese food out in ages! Server Paul was also very helpful and attentive in navigating the menu options safely. When visiting the area, we will definitely return!

Great Chinese food. Perfect tea soaked duck. The black bean sauce was amazing, peefect flavor. Service was really bad, had to call owner over to the table to get help, fixing errors and taking our meal order. I think it was just our server that was bad, the other servers there seemed attentive to all their tables, owner was great, and fixed things right away.

Tely’s is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at, and it’s an elegant and authentic dining experience. Mr. Tely owned and operated Yen-Yen’s restaurant in downtown Cocoa Beach for many years and has now moved to Suntree. Their egg rolls are better than anywhere else, and the Special Wonton Soup for two is one of my favorites!

Telly’s was amazing. My fiance had been wanting to go since it opened and we finally got there. The food and service were amazing. Telly himself, visited our table often, that night. We felt very special. It’s a classy place with really good food. Flavorful, authentic with a modern twist.

Mongolian beef was delicious. The egg rolls were so thick and big. Never saw pork fried rice white, but it was very tasty. The table was awesome, and our server was good. Although, she forgot to order one entree and bring everything out when asked, but she was very nice and apologetic. Will go back again.
