It’s easy to get swept up in the famous party atmosphere at The Starboard, but do yourself a favor and come for breakfast. The omelet I had this morning was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I went for the ‘Create Your Own’ and piled in everything from bacon to peppers, and the eggs were flawlessly cooked and incredibly fluffy, not at all greasy. The portion was huge, and the side of crispy, homemade hash browns was exactly what I needed. I frequent Starboard Raw because it’s just across the street from my house, and it’s always a great experience! The selection of oysters is impressive, and they offer a variety of other seafood dishes that never disappoint. They also have a fantastic menu of non-seafood items, which adds a great variety to their offerings. The craft beer selection is also top-notch!
The staff is incredibly friendly and always works quickly to make sure you’re served promptly. Even though the restaurant is on the smaller side, with bar seating on one side and tables on the other, they manage to get everyone seated in a reasonable amount of time. During the summer months, they have additional seating out on the deck, which is a perfect spot to enjoy a meal.
They’re open every day, though their hours do vary a bit during the off-season.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area — whether you’re a local or just visiting!

This place was awesome, from the time we opened the door! Jake was a great bartender and hospitality was 100 and gave great recommendations! We sat at the bar, first come first serve, after originally putting our name in the table. Apps , calamari, Mexican street corn, chicken tortillas soup all amazing! The food here is really delicious. The service is amazing. It is fast and attentive. I would highly recommend the barata appetizer. It was really refreshing. I would say to stay away from the calamari as it is not crispy. And they put the fried calamari on a bed of marinara which makes it quite soggy. And then it comes with a sauce on top which doesn’t help. They have several crushed flavors that are good and look like water. They have a nice happy hour with a bar type feel. High top seating. The mussels were also quite delicious. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

We visited the starboard raw last night and it was great! We had oysters, calamari, fish tacos, and our daughter had a cheeseburger. The oysters and calamari were great. The calamari was tender and the sauces were fantastic. The fish tacos were good, but needed less lettuce and some citrus added, maybe some lime crema? The rice that came with it was delicious. Loved how they did 2 small sliders for the children’s burger as a big one can be a bit much for our 2.5 year old. The orange and grapefruit crush were amazing as well!

The food here was extremely good! There were a bunch of Bros inside that looked like maybe golfers or something and they were so incredibly loud that it was hard to concentrate. Having a conversation was definitely off the table until they left. But the food made up for it in and our waitress was great. We got the fish tacos and the chicken parmesan.

We visit here every time we come to the beach. To me, this is one of the best bars because of its range from a great happy hour place, a great place for Sunday fun day of course, the great place to listen to music, and finally to grab a meal.
This year was a little bit different of course because of covid-19. We got take out once and I had the steak and cheese sandwich and it was excellent. Then my family and I visited the actual restaurant after it opened back up on June 2nd. This time I had the patty and melt burger and it was pretty good. We sat outside and fell very comfortable with the social distancing as well as the professionalism of the staff. We’re looking forward to going back soon!

Went here before peak season so it was pretty chill, and the service was quick and friendly. The seafood is delicious and fresh. We had local oysters (Dewey beach and Delaware bay ones) that were huge and so good they didn’t need any toppings, as well as crab legs and the incredible seafood chowder that was so chunky I’m not even sure what all was in it (shrimp for sure at least). Also had the crab guacamole, which was good too, but didn’t take a picture of it. We’re new to Delaware but will definitely be coming back, as we plan on frequenting the beach. There are too many items on the menu we haven’t tried.
