Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I can’t say I have ever been more happy with a fast food restaurant! The store is spotless and the staff is so friendly and attentive. But most of all I love the manager Aseel she was such a good girl and very talkative. She also sings great in Arabic. An amazing experience.

I’ve come to this location many times since it’s opened, the staff are very friendly but the service is so slow. I always forget how long it takes the food to come out. And the buns are not heated sometimes . I’ve been in the car waiting for my food for 20mins now… and I really needed to get home fast

I had a really good experience at this Whataburger. The manager, TJ, was very kind and helpful. He made sure everything was correct with my order and checked to make sure I was taken care of. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, and the service was fast.

I’ve been eating here since they grand opened. Staff is always friendly and many know my order. Food arrives quickly, and hot and fresh. The managers are very kind and know me by name. Austin in particular is always hard at work.

Always so slow, even when they are not busy. When they first opened they were very slow, which is understandable. It got better for a while, but the last 3 times I’ve been, it took way too long eventhough there were very few customers.

I’m fairly regular at this location and usually pick up my order. The staff knows me by name and my order is often ready to go when I arrive a few minutes later. The staff are always friendly. Food is great and I’ve never had issues with my order.

Whoever is managing this Whataburger location is doing a FANTASTIC job. Restaurant was extremely clean, staff is friendly & attentive, and the food tasted fresh! Fries were perfectly cooked & seasoned. The burger was juicy (not like other locations I’ve been to where the beef has been dry). 10/10. Great job!

Always a double! Best burger and fries meal. It’s a go-to for lunch or dinner. The relatively new one on Gaston and Falcon Landing across from Tompkins HS is always clean and ready. The quickness is sometimes longer than most, but that’s because I believe they are cooking your selection to order, so no pre-made stuff.
Nov 2023 – Breakfast taquitos are the BEST!
Jan 2024 – stopped by for breakfast. This location stuff the Taquitos full. !!

April 2024 – decided to use the append do car side… 1st time. It took a little longer than I expected, but they did well.
Sep 2024 – Breakfast with the youngest G-baby. It was hot and fresh and she enjoyed it. So a great start to our morning.
May 2025 – drive through today for breakfast… it took about 19 minutes but it was cooked fresh to order.
Nov 2025 – quick lunch… fresh and good.
Feb 2026 – late night food run… this placed was slammed. 15 people inside 10 cars in drive-thru but Nassar was knocking em out as quickly as the 2 person staff +himself could. It took a little longer than normal but the food was hot and fresh. All good!!! Great job Nasser!
