It serves all 3 meals.
It has a large dining room conveniently divided into section and a large patio where a handler is keeping a hawk sp that birds would not annoy the eaters.
The breakfast buffet is very extensive including a station where a chef prepares eggs to order. A full buffet breakfast cost $38.
The lunch and dinner menu offer tasty fares and specialty coffees (see photos).
Most dishes are $21-33.
Some photos show the 2 kids meals that we ordered.
Pleasant, relax setting.
The setting for dinner is relaxed elegance with dim lights. Service is very attentive.
My favourite was the whole brenzini fish (for 2) which arrives debunked to the table (see pgotos) all other dishes were great as well.
Prices are what you’d expect of a resort restaurant; however, bacon was extremely undercooked and it took nearly 30 minutes for a basic 2-egg breakfast to be delivered. Service was slow. There were extra items on my bill, so I had to find a server to correct the bill before leaving.
We ordered the salmon and the lamb. The salmon was good and well prepared. Unfortunately, the lamb was atrocious. It tasted old and unpleasant, which was extremely disappointing, especially for a special occasion. When we brought it to the waiter’s attention, he was courteous and removed it from the bill. He also offered us a complimentary dessert, which we appreciated. However, the dessert was also not good, and we were unable to finish it.
We then ordered two cappuccinos to end the evening, but they arrived cold and were not appetizing.
Overall, the experience was very underwhelming for a Valentine’s dinner. While the ambiance and initial service were positive, the food quality fell far short of expectations. Sadly, we will not be returning.
Staff were all very friendly and the restaurant has tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Beware of the birds though if you’re sitting outdoors—they are ruthless!
Worth checking out considering it’s the only restaurant in the hotel, but the food is mediocre/very overpriced.
A really cool feature, which was ultra unique. They had the hawk man which had a pet hawk that was trained to keep the pesky birds away from bothering the patrons during breakfast. He would come to your table and show you the bird and tell you cool facts about it.
In regard to the breakfast, pancakes were unlike anything I’ve eaten before perfectly cooked and a delicate, but crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. They served it with real maple syrup, which was very tasty.
The ham and cheese omelette was absolutely divine. It was more of a French inspired omelette that was thin and fluffy like a pillow.
The fresh fruit was fantastic and ripe every piece was outstanding.
The cappuccinos were great and the service was fantastic.
Food was delicious—downside is that the menu doesn’t change, so it was the exact same menu as the day before. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Breakfast B.L.T., Avocado Toast and Huevos Rancheros! The Smoked Salmon & Bagel was great too. All delicious and tasty, and the portions are generous.
During our first visit, our lady server wasn’t the friendliest which left a bit of a sour experience. On our second visit, the next day, we got Christine who was beyond AMAZING!! Super friendly and attentive—Christine even went out of her way to get us Pina Coladas by the pool since the restaurant bar didn’t make them—truly grateful for her kind gesture. I would definitely request for her!
