Fish was paper thin, mostly batter. Shrimp rice had one shrimp in rice which didn’t taste like fried rice. I asked if they had fresh vegetables and server said yes, however vegetables were frozen and not cooked thoroughly, still cold. Not the normal ostioneria.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at La Patrona Ostioneria. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a snarky attitude from the staff that only got worse as the night went on. The workers seemed more interested in giving condescending looks than providing good service.
As for the food, it was far from fresh or flavorful. The vegetables were obviously frozen, and the overall quality of the dishes was well below what I expected for the price. Speaking of prices, the menu was misleading. The prices listed were not what I was charged, and to top it off, there was an additional upcharge for using a credit card that wasn’t mentioned anywhere.
The most uncomfortable part of the experience was at the end when I was writing the tip. The staff stared at me with a snarky expression, making the whole situation feel tense and unwelcoming.

I went there for the first time today. Staff was friendly, food was delicious. I ordered mar y tierra and that was a pretty hefty serving. Shared with my sister and I still had leftovers. By the way if you like karaoke I learned that they offer it Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s.

This place was great. They have a huge bar and lots of tables. They’re open until 12, but the kitchen closes around 10. We got there about 10:30, I think, and they were kind enough to fry us some shrimp. The shrimp was delicious, and the fries were seasoned just right.

First it was hot in there, you expect that once you bring it to their attention they turn on the AC. Second, Wait staff is clueless she can’t respond to simple questions about the menu. Lastly and most importantly the food was extremely disappointing, tasteless and not with the price! Never again! Save your $$$ and go somewhere else!
