Delicious breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros with green chili, and barbacoa tortas. Be warned that the jalapeños and green chili both have a decent level of spice! I have never dined in, but from walking in the atmosphere seems warm and inviting. Reasonable prices and always friendly service!

Definitely a great place for coffee and a breakfast burrito. Baked goods smell great when you walk in the door. You will be greeted with a smile! Skip the convenience stores and get a good breakfast. Prices can’t be beat!

Wow! Amazing! please support this business! Food was fast and delicious and the staff was so incredibly nice! They went above and beyond to make my little girls feel special We are from Miami and met another couple from Boston that say they go there often when visiting and were never disappointed! I will definitely be going back as well! FYI Donuts are also Amazing and you have to try one of these bread things I took a photo of, they are incredibly delicious ( everything else was consumed to fast to photograph, just go!)

Such amazing food! If I had known this place existed, I would have eaten here more during my time in Alamosa area. The chilaquiles were incredibly flavorful. Best chilaquiles I’ve had in Colorado by far. The tortillas were great too. Do yourself a favor and order everything!

Great place to start a new adventure! We ordered 2 cheddar burritos ☺️. It was the best! They put salsa in the bag. That was a plus. We also got a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin empanada. The burritos hit the spot. And later that afternoon we had our baked goods. The cinnamon roll was still moist. The pumpkin empanada was delicious. Thanks for great customer service.

Really nice people and good wholesome food. We had an omelet and a breakfast quesadilla. Both were great. Grabbed a cinnamon roll and an empanada for the road. We will definitely stop here next time we are passing through Monte Vista.

I was traveling and stayed near Monte Vista many months ago and found this hidden gem of a restaurant that I shall never forget. The elderly couple who own/manage it are beautiful folks who prepare the best huevos rancheros I have ever had. I reside in Missouri but Don Tomas will always have a piece of my heart that will always be treasured! Hope to return one day! Thank you beautiful people! You are the very best of eateries!
