I’ve tried to give the salads a chance atleast 3 times and each time I have to pick out a few pieces of wilted lettuce but this time was the worst. The entire bowl of lettuce was wilted and limp, and the cucumbers tasted old and had a mushy texture. I ended up removing the chicken and other toppings and added it to a bagged salad to have lunch. I absolutely will not be ordering a salad from the Athens location again.

Logan and Hannah were the best! Logan took our order and suggested I choose the fried okra, when I was hesitant between two sides, because it is cooked fresh. My son loved it as well! Our friend was told he had to wait for his wings, but Hannah offered him a sweet treat while he waited. Thank you both for being so wonderful!

This is ridiculous. I eat chicken fingers all the time and from multiple places. I thought slim chickens specialized in chicken fingers. Well , i’ve got to say these are the worst fingers i’ve had in a long long time. We ordered twenty five fingers and two boxes of french fries. Take home. Sixty dollars. I estimate The fries have been cooked for 2 or 3 hours and sitting, as well as the chicken fingers. The fingers were tasteless, tough , dry ,cold and unseasoned. RIDICULOUS!!. I will never go back. slim chickens you need to do better. Maybe the fact it was eight p m had something to do with it, but that’s Still no excuse to serve old cold food thats been sitting for hours.

First time visit. Coupons in hand. First impressions – clean, well lit, parking, service.
Tried new Big Dill chicken sandwich meal. Bun – score, good size juicy piece of chicken – score. Had some fried and regular pickles and pickle aioli. We agreed the pickles flavor got to be a bit overwhelming halfway through. Found some of the fresh pickles a bit chewy.
Fries – score
Tried fried mushrooms. Very nice, tender with Ranch for dip. Score
Plan on going back to try other chicken sandwiches and sides.
Off to a good start.

The only reason why I gave this review three stars is because of the customer service. It was phenomenal. Shout out to the older gentleman who works as a cashier. He made the experience great . And he sure knows how to sell a meal.
I asked the cashier if the food is cooked to order, and he said yes, it is . So I went outside to wait. My food came out in about 3 minutes.
I was on the go, so I ate it in my car . When I bit into the tenders, it was hard to bite through the batter portion .
To make a long story sort . These guys had tenders already prepared, and all they did was redropped it in the grease… making the texture of the chicken tenders hard as if it was reheated in the microwave.
I was highly disappointed spending over 30 plus dollars on my wife and I’s meal.
Idk who’s in the back cooking . But you guys need to take a break and evaluate.
BTW this was yesterday around 1:45 p.m

Yippee. They redeemed themselves! The first time I ate at the Athens Slim Chickens, here is what I said. I gave them a 3 out of 5.
“Not all Slim Chickens are the same. I often eat at the one in Huntsville and it’s great. But the one in Athens was not up to par. The tenders and fries were both way overcooked and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. It wasn’t pleasant. I think the workers need more training. Since I normally really like this restaurant, it’s great for kids, and this one is local to where I live, I will return another day to see if they can do better.”
I returned at a later date as promised to give them another try and here is my new review and gave them a 5 out of 5…
“I had a great meal. Service was very friendly, food cooked perfectly, and delivered hot in record time. I am putting this place as one of my top fast food places to eat where the food is great at a very reasonable price. Bring the family and enjoy.”

We had an emergency today! Lol Our son’s football team needed catering for their game. It was very last minute and we had 70 kids to feed in a few hours! I looked online and it said catering required a 12 hour notice. We definitely didn’t have that amount of time. I called up there and the staff was so gracious! One of the ladies stayed past her shift to help make the food. We can’t thank them enough! They were all so kind and helpful!
