We absolutely loved our experience at Bev’s Steakhouse! We were so excited when they opened, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is cute, cozy, and perfectly romantic. Such a great spot for a date night.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. The cocktails were delicious, and the French onion soup was rich and full of flavor.
My filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the elk loin and couldn’t stop raving about it. Everything was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.
We’re so happy to have this place in town and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Incredible new spot in downtown Black Mountain. Sophisticated atmosphere with a touch of playfulness. The food is everything it should be – delicious. We had a hard time deciding what to get because everything looked so appealing! We settled on the Baby Iceberg Salad, Mushroom Tortellini, Duck Breast and the Denver Steak. All was fantastic but the duck breast REALLY stood out to perfection. An added yum bonus was the slice of mushroom, onion, and cute little tomato “flower” on the plate. Drinks were excellent. We’ll be back and save room for dessert!

The atmosphere, food and service were fabulous and worth the price. Generous & very delicious portions. The food came out at a leisurely but attentive pace, they did not try to rush you through your meal. We had a very experienced and wonderful server. She took great care of us!

This is what’s been missing in Black Mountain. They’ve gotten it all right, from the moment you walk in. The person who greeted us at the host stand was the perfect balance of professional and friendly. The bartender (and server, we ate at the bar) looked after us beautifully and the food was outstanding. The space was warm and inviting and classy. Bev’s will be a go to for special occasions and when we just need to treat ourselves!

Food was AMAZING. If you’re looking for an experience, great service and wonderful food, this is your place. Fancy, great atmosphere and quite an experience. Rob is an amazing chef and brought out this masterpiece, along with some oysters for us that I forgot to take a photo of. Beyond 5 stars. The drinks were beyond ourselves. They were top notch as well. Patrick!! Thank you, man. Amazing.

Holy mother of god. I didn’t know it was possible to experience a spiritual awakening from a damn dinner plate. Every dish looked like it had been crafted by someone who uses tweezers recreationally. Every dish tasted like it was carefully kissed on the forehead after being read Shakespearian bedtime stories and given a back rub. That chef cooked with the kind of love I wish my exes had given me. Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life.

Fantastic experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Every bit of food and drinks we ordered were exceptional! We tried the raw oysters with homemade crackers, pork belly, broccolini and rack of lamb. The lamb was perfectly charred on the outside and delicately med/med rare on the inside. We asked for a red wine pairing for the lamb and it was perfect. Also, with it being a downstairs, speakeasy kind of vibe, we felt so special being there. It’s nice to dress up and have somewhere that feels very approchable, but elevated to go in Black Mountain. WILL BE BACK!

Great addition to Black Mountain’s restaurant scene. Creative and delicious dishes. We shared and sampled many items on the menu and were delighted with all. They also have a nice wine selection.
Service was outstanding as well as the decor. We had a lovely table for eight people and all walked away pleased.
