We started going to Filippos after we stopped going to another spot in town that offered dollar slices. At first, the price difference gave us pause because it felt like we were basically doubling our cost. But what we realized is that the quality at Filippos is on a completely different level.
Because the dough is so much better, we actually don’t need to order as much. The ingredients, flavor, and overall consistency make it worth every dollar.
Even if the quality weren’t better (which it absolutely is), the service alone would keep us coming back and I love that every time I’ve been there, the owner is the one making the pies. That kind of pride and consistency shows.
Just a really well-run shop. Highly recommend.

Had high hopes, but left disappointed.
“The Best Pizza in Glassboro” — contrary to their website — is *not* found at Filippo’s.
Based on the 4.6/5.0 star ⭐ review on Google, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, both the pepperoni Sicilian square pizza and the large round cheese pizza were only okay. Meh.
Based on the products I had, I have no idea why so many people would rate this place a 5??

It was also unexpectedly expensive. Nearly $75.00 for just two pizzas, three 2-liters of soda, and four waters. Whaaat? No tip, either, since it was take out.
The service was fine, relatively friendly but curt.
The atmosphere was slightly shady. People from the neighborhood walking through the parking lot, and a 7 Eleven type of convenience store vibe, both outside & inside.
Probably won’t give it a second try based on ho-hum pizza quality and high expense.

I went here with my grandparents and it was an amazing place to go to. The place was clean, and there were cool signs on the walls. The pizza came out quickly, and it was one of if not the best pizza I’ve had. It was the perfect size and temperature to eat when it came out, and I enjoyed every bite. I tried bacon and pepperoni, and they were both equally good. They had public restrooms and nice tables. When we were finished, I went out to the car thinking I had a great time.

I’m glad I turned around because I was Right!!! Totally a Family owned restaurant with AMAZING food!!! I got the Margherita pizza, personal size. It was enough for 2-3 people!!! Each bite was more heavenly then the last! The perfect crust crunched with each tasty bite! The marinara was just Perfect! Fresh garlic& Basil finished this pie off with outstanding flavor bursts! Thank you- for being a beacon of light, 2 nights from Christmas, with something better then satisfying! I’ll be coming back, even though it’s not that close to home- totally worth the trip! Thank you to this Great family of Kind souls with a real knack for fresh, Delicious Pizza

Cheesesteak, Stromboli and pizza, well it wasn’t the worst but it absolutely wasn’t the best. Cheesesteak was bland, roll was fall8ling apart. Pizza sucked l, I’m thinking the sauce because the crust tasted good, nice char and crunch just not worth the $17 spent. The Stromboli was good, very favorable however as good as it was just was not worth the money spent. Back to my drawing board. Wish there was a better place

My daughter lives in Glassboro neighborhood and we were looking for a good place for pizza. Dominoes wasnt gonna cut it for us, we shouldve just done dominoes!.
This place with the reviews I was for sure would kill it..the only thing it killed was our party vibe.
We got the honeymoon which is sausage pepperoni basil and hot honey we got the bigger size $30 this crust was awful everything fell off the crust bc it was soggy and not appetizing at all highly disappointed with the price and product!. We also received a plain pie which was just ok. What makes a pizza in this area is the crust! Idk how this place got those reviews but it wasnt bc of the pizza! I think you guys need to change the crust or work on it bc the prices u charge are criminal. Very sad and disappointed $57 on two pies is better spent else where sadly
