EDIT (12/22/2025): After my previous good experience a couple weeks ago, my father and I again placed an order at this location, and everything again was perfect. The sandwiches were delicious. Fresh tomatoes, crunchy lettuce, good protein portions (and when paying for “extra”, I actually received “extra”), fresh bread, and all customizations were completely accurate.
I’m not sure what happened at this location, but the changes are very apparent in the quality of the food now received. I have changed my rating to 5 stars, and I will continue to eat here without hesitation. Keep up the great work!
EDIT (12/10/2025): My father wanted a JJ’s sandwich recently, so I hesitantly placed an app order for the two of us. To my great surprise, the sandwiches were delicious. Our customizations were entirely accurate, the lettuce and tomatoes were very fresh (and the lettuce wasn’t shredded so finely that it became soggy – it still had crunch to it), the bread was the correct size (not what is used for the “slims”), and the protein portions were on par with how they used to be. Everything was perfect. I’ve upgraded my previous 1-star review to 3 stars for now (not sure if this last experience was a fluke or if permanent changes were made at this location). Will update again when I place my next order.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don’t recommend this location at all. Not only is it NOT “freaky fast”, but the quality and value of the sandwiches have been declining over the past few months. The French bread is smaller than what it used to be – it’s not as wide (it’s skinnier) – and protein portions have lessened as well. There is also an issue with standardization, so sandwiches can be dramatically different from visit to visit. For example, one time there is hardly any mayo on a sandwich; the next time, there is so much mayo added that it’s inedible without taking a spoon and literally scooping off the mayo and soggy lettuce.
After having several consecutive disappointing experiences, I contacted JJ’s online Customer Service a few weeks ago with a specific issue, and I received a reply that locations are franchised, so my feedback was forwarded to the store. I received no acknowledgement of it at all from the store – it was ignored.
Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. There is a Jersey Mike’s about 2 miles down the road from this JJ’s – much better quality and value for your money. The neighboring Sheetz also makes much better sandwiches within their MTO menu.

Went through drive thru Friday Jan 16th. Took my order waited at drive up window for 9 min. Noone acknowledged or said anything or took my payment. Finally got my order , drove home only to find no TUNA on my sub. How does this happen? Went back, girl at counter asked for receipt, assumed I used a card but I paid cash. She apologized for error gave me money back but didnt seem really to care . I was at this location several months back also and was taken a back by the white paper in drive thru window so you cant see in, found a hair in my sub…so all in all, im all for trying again but unfortunately im done with this location. Get it together! Its not the same place as when it originally opened.

Just picked up my turkey sub. There was literally one paper thin slice of turkey on the whole sandwich. And they didn’t have the drink I ordered in the app. Not worth $16+ for what you get. Was using up a gift card. Will not be back.

Went in Super bowl Sunday during late lunch, decent amount of customers and looked like the young man and lady working had some rather large boxed orders, but my order was still ready in reasonable time!

I love how fresh the bread and ingredients always seem to be. I love even more that they have a delicious vegetarian option with a GREAT avocado spread.
I always add an order of hot peppers on the side and add them to my sandwich as I go. I definitely would recommend getting them if it you like spicy-but-not-burn-your-mouth-off spicy.
The staff at this location seems to always be a very young group… and they friendly and efficient enough to keep me coming back for more.

We entered, no customers in there. All the tables had chairs placed on top of the tables. Ordered one #4turkey and cheese. One chx bacon ranch un bun. The turkey & cheese had minimal turkey , it was edible, however my husband was hungry. The un bun sandwich was wet with water. No ranch seasoning dry or wet. Maybe a Tbsp of canned chicken if that, like you buy in Walmart. Sparce and I mean sparce onions. Took it home and unwrapped the lettuce and 3 small pieces of tomato, layered paper towels to soak up the water best as I could. Helped a little. The bacon was slimey I threw it away. Yuck! Decided to make a salad. It was primarily a lettuce with lettuce that was soaked. Total cost, $23.47. David took our order. He was very nice. The other young man was very aloof looking at us like we were intrusive. I apologized for coming so late, thinking they closed at 8pm, as they had pretty much had the place closed up. I said do you close at 8? He said yes, only to see now they’re open until 9. We told him we’d take our sandwiches home, as there was no where to sit. I understand that prices have gone up, but this place robs you! I want people to know what to expect if they decide to buy anything. BTW, water still running on my plate from all the wet lettuce! Never again. Take a minute and ride down the road to Jersey Mike’s and get a real hoagie, for $3.47 less!

Waited 8 or 9 minutes to have our order taken while they worked on another order. Husband got the wrong sandwich altogether, I got the right sandwich but missing two ingredients. Lobby was freezing and AC blowing so hard out napkins kept sliding off the table. Won’t be back.

Just left during their rush. They were supppppper busy. My sandwich order was still correct and delicious! You could tell they were overwhelmed and they still nailed it. If it was closer I would definitely go more frequently!
