This is the third Chicago ramen we been to, all are great! This location just like other location, its small, with a bar and like a couple booths and table
Menu is just like other location and similar pricing, very reasonable
Services was quick, consider We were the only table lol
We order all red ramen some with chicken, beef and vegetable. All taste very good the only down size, the beef bun were not that good….
Hopefully they will turn on the heat soon lol

The restaurant’s quite small with a bar and 3 tables which have 2 booths and 1 just have four chairs. There’s a mirror and it’s situated in a way where the bar area and the 3 tables look duplicated so the restaurant at first glance seems bigger than it actually is.
The menu had a decent selection. There was all sorts of ramen, chicken, shrimp, beef, vegetable, white miso, red miso, and appetizers, tsukemen, rice bowls, drinks, desserts, and more. I ordered the Beef Ramen Curry which I knew by the name would be good but it was even better than I expected. Not too salty whatsoever and the beef was delicious delicious. Great portion if you’re super hungry as well. Soup was great.

place used to be a dairy queen then an off-brand ice cream shop, both closed in the off season. now it’s ramen, year-round. very attentive, personalized service. interior is small, possibly cozy. dishes are good, with good ingredients. for some dishes the flavoring can be on the stronger side, eg, curry.

Chicago Ramen still has the best ramen, but prices are out of hand. They charge $3 to add an egg – including the “extra dollar surcharge due to egg prices” that never went away after COVID. Come on; it’s 2026… That’s highway robbery. Also, the service can be hit or miss.

i was pleasantly surprised by the portions given and the extremely fair prices. the staff was attentive and kind, warned of spice, and offered napkins/bibs to avoid splash. they played very calming shamisen music, which i thought was a wonderful touch. i went in expecting americanized food, and got authentic Japanese cuisine instead. prices range from ~$14-22 depending on what you want. love it! i can’t wait to come back.

Great tasting food freshly prepared after you order. Place is small with only a few tables and seats by the counter but there is also outdoor seating available. So glad they opened this new branch! They have a parking lot too so parking is easy.

I tried their red miso ramen. The pork meat was flavorful and the noodle texture reminded me of Korean kal-guksu. I liked that part. However, my party and I all felt that the broth was much too salty. My soup also turned out very thick, with some floating bits I couldn’t identify, which made it hard to enjoy the broth. If they could adjust the saltiness and texture of the soup, I think the overall experience would be much better.

Food is great. Flavors are great. My favorite ramen in the area.
But their delivery etiquette is unfortunate. It’s like if they can’t see you they don’t care. I order the seaweed salad it was TWO tablespoons, that’s it. 7 bucks for two tablespoons of seaweed salad. But when I dine in it’s almost TOO much and I take some home as leftovers. It’s just so disingenuous and inconsistent. Sometimes I just can’t get out of the office and delivery is my go to.
