First time visiting this neighborhood bar. Very friendly staff. There’s plenty of seating too. They serve beer, wine and hard liquor. They have a small menu of items to choose from. We had hot wings, fries, patty melt and tacos and that was plenty plus we took the leftovers home. Fun young crowd. Very friendly too. We’ll be back again!

I came here on a slow night and the vibe was chill. The place looks very modern with a lot of TV’s. UFC fight nights seem very popular. Two pool tables are available if you can get one. A fiend had the tuna melt which they said was very good. The other customers food looked good too. The touch tunes music played older genres.

This is by far the best place in Lakewood. If you’re looking for an ice cold beer and some delicious food, O’Connor’s is the spot! I’m not talking about your average “bar food” either. We moved to Lakewood in 2020 & we’ve been coming here since they opened after the remodel. If you’re in the area, you have to check it out! And while you’re there, say hello to our favorite bartenders Tony, Bri, and Justine!

Nice bar, pretty spacious, came here on a Tuesday so we were here for taco Tuesdays. The asada tacos were good, I’m a potatoe taco fan myself but theres wasn’t to good. 4 tacos, 1 805 schooner and 1 whiskey coke came out to $21 and some change. 25oz 805 9.50. A little pricey.

Terrible server. Party of four and before we ordered we asked if we can be charged separately. When the bill called we reminded him to have separate bills and he just had one bill, dropped it at the table and walked away without caring. Chicken sandwich tasted bad. Screens kept glitching throughout the fight. All drinks served on cheap plastic cups. They saw me writing this review and all of a sudden they can split it separately. Crazy. Don’t come here.

TLDR: The bartender added a 20% gratuity automatically to my bill and said it was because it was over $200. But I got a really sketchy impression from her. I give two stars because I do like their wings, but we don’t plan to come back.
Longer story:
I’ve visited this place sporadically the past few years and always returned because we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A couple of weeks ago I was sitting at the bar and I don’t feel good about the visit.
Towards the end of the night I saw one bartender show another bartender a receipt and say something like, “look, he didn’t notice and added more”. The way she said it just gave me a funny feeling. So I looked at my friend’s bill in front of me and I saw that there was 20% gratuity automatically added, plus some boxes to add an additional 20%, 22%, etc.
When I got my tab, I also had the 20% gratuity and I asked the bartender “oh so gratuities already added?” And she said “oh yeah I think the system adds it when your bill is over $200 or something”. But her tone was kind of flippant and she turned away really quickly. The interaction just felt off, and it left me feeling suspicious.
I didn’t see any signs about the 20% and they didn’t give us a heads up. We tip 20% normally, but I had the distinct feeling that maybe the bartenders were being sketchy. I should’ve had the gratuity removed, but I chose not to say anything because I didn’t want to be confrontational.
