Holy Mother of taco! Yesterday I was asked to pick up some tacos. I was actually going to a Mexican food place a couple doors down but they were closed. I saw El Kiosko and thought I should see if they have tacos. I had popped in before and they didn’t but this time was different.
I couldn’t tell if the tacos were $4 or 4 tacos on a plate.
I asked, it was $4 a taco. I paused and the nice lady at the counter added but they are really big and delicious. I ordered 8 tacos. She cooked them up fresh, about 8 minutes, and brought them out. The bag was heavy.
When I got them home and opened them up I was shocked!
These tacos were filled with deliciously cooked high quality steak, onions (fresh & sautéed) & cilantro. There was about 2 1/2 time the amount of beautifully seasoned cooked meat. Juicy but NOT greasy.
There was a cooked jalapeño, fresh cucumber sautéed onions and 2 different salsa.
They were delicious. The salsa was tasty and the fresh crispy cucumber took it to a another level.
They were so chuck full of high quality meat, three people couldn’t eat them all. Seriously, two tacos is like 4 or five tacos!
Go get some tacos. You won’t be disappointed!

I went there because I wanted a piña loca but they didn’t have the shell of the piña that it looks great when they served all inside there, and asked for sandía loca and same they didn’t have the shell so I ended to buying something else, but the nachos were so delicious.

The quality and variety are great! The pieces are a little elevated for what you get, but it still is delicious. Highly recommend checking it out. Esta muy bien para calmar y satisfacer los antojitos

There doesn’t seem to be any basis for serving sizes. When I used to get an order of crepes, there were two crepes with probably about a entire banana chopped into pieces, quite a few strawberries, and Nutella spread. Today, I ordered the same exact thing as usual and got ONE crepe with maybe two straw berries, less banana, and no Nutella. The issue isn’t that the crepe has less stuff, but that it was the same exact price with half the food. I understand foot prices are going up but they could at least preface that the price will be the same as usual for way less food before hand.

Super on top of their orders. If I pre order I’ve never had to wait longer than it took me to get there from my house. Food is delicious. Last time I went I had the shrimp tacos, barillia tacos and loaded fries. All cooked perfect and tasted amazing! The family that owns it is courteous and kind every time I’ve been in. Thanks for being a great part of our community.

Good food and wait time wasn’t too bad, however this taqueria is a little different. Tucked back behind Burgerville and the Vietnam Memorial Park is a small commercial building where El Kiosko Deli is located (far right) with limited parking. We visited when it was very slow, so parking wasn’t an issue, however I had almost stopped in the week prior during a school day and at the time the parking lot was full and there were high school students everywhere… Service was fine and the lady was pleasant, and while the food was decent we debated a bit between a 3 or 4 star review given a few detractors. The location is a bit odd, but once you walk in it gets even stranger. There was a wall of cardboard boxes on the wall near the door, and to the right of the front counter were two tables with a single table cloth and it appeared like catering platters were being unpacked and just left out half unpacked. Some of the tables and booths were pushed up against each other with stuff on them so they were not usable, however there was only 1 other person in there so it wasn’t an issue, just unkempt. There was a very colorful wall poster menu with a handful of items displayed, then there were two TV menu screens which were very difficult to read. Photos and labels were slammed in with no apparent organization and some items had pricing, others did not. Avocado toast was listed twice, and some item pricing seemed standard while a few were a little high (like a fruit drink for $7.75 or $13 burrito). In short, the menu is an absolute hot mess and I’m positive it is costing them business, its that bad. We ordered Quesobirria which was next to Quesadillas showing $12 however we were charged $15, and the chimichanga was listed at $11 but we were charged $13, receipts were not provided and there is no cashier screen for the customer to see. Both dishes were served with prepackaged red and green hot sauce which had separated into chunks and watery liquid, which was not very appetizing as it had obviously been sitting in a fridge for a considerable amount of time. We expected a fresh salsa bar like most taquerias, and were a little bummed with the stale salsa. Food was decent, but not as tasty as a handful of other options in the area. They have been at this location for a while so I expected them to be more established and tidy, we may return to give them another chance.
