I stopped by with my folks before catching the train back north, and purchased some champurrado.
To start, super happy they sell this seasonal drink 🙂
The best champurrado I’ve had in a very long time!! Fresh and warm, you can tell it is made fresh daily, very flavorful with pilloncillo and cinnamon notes with a creamy consistency.
The gentlemen at the counter were extremely friendly and courteous. Very affordable, $11 for 3 medium hearty sized cups.
Have to come back for some tacos de papa!

Had an enchilada & tamale combo ($12.95) and a champurrado ($4.50.) Very fast service. My mom had the beef taco & enchilada combo (also $12.95) and said the taco shell was hand made!

This is a must try restaurant!! Simple little place at in downtown LA. (Olvera street)They have the best taquitos in town! Red Hot sauce is amazing!! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Best guacamole sauce and very good red sauce to go with the taquitos and shredded beef tacos. My dad has been going there since the early 90’s but don’t confuse it with el rancho a few spots down (south).
