Amazing Indian chats places at Pittsburgh.
Tried KGF-2 sandwich, Sev puri, RRR sandwich and Samosa Chat.

I ordered chai, chole bature, pav bhaji, and a sandwich — but unfortunately, nothing lived up to expectations. The sandwich was especially disappointing: bland, unappetizing, and definitely not worth the high price. Overall, the taste and quality didn’t match the cost. Not a place I’d recommend or revisit.

We ordered 4 items to go , but it literally took more than an hour for them to prepare our food!!! It would have been still bearable if the price and food were worth the wait. Bhatura was not good at all, hard and super oily. Chikoo shake had bigger pieces of seeds so definitely not suitable for kids. Fries were spicy and hence again the kids couldn’t eat anything good even after such a long wait.

Stopped by here while visiting from out of town. Everything was delicious and the owner went above and beyond providing excellent service. I wish I lived in Pittsburgh so I could come here on a regular basis. The menu is extensive and there are many deals and combos that are priced quite fairly. The sandwiches we got were tasty and creative, although the aloo tikka chaat was my favorite food item. We also ordered a few juices and a rose lassi and everything was freshly made to order. The owner even brought out extra lassi for our group to enjoy. All in all, the excellent vegetarian Indian food and kind, friendly service cannot be beat

One of my favorite places! The people there are very friendly and I love their paneer tikka wrap, chaats, and filter coffee.

The best chili cheese toast ever! Great late night spot for inexpensive Indian street food in Pittsburgh. Faluda and chaat were great, too. The taste was authentic, and it hit the spot perfectly

The chat here has the authentic indian taste and what makes them stand out is the flavorful masala they use to garnish. Although it is a chat place, their sandwiches and wraps are equally great, some belief it’s even better. They have such a vast menu and a diverse variety vegetarian dishes it’s hard to choose one. Overall, my experience there was amazing and I wish to visit more often. If you wish to discover new flavors or want to have a quick snack on the go this place is the one I suggest.

ordered bhel and a mango falooda.
i wish i didn’t have to write this review. the last thing i want to do is put down a telugu establishment that i desperately wanted to be happy about.
bhel: soggy. burnt peanuts, no tomatoes, no tanginess, no flavor. burnt peanuts overwhelmed everything. i threw it out some 5 bites in.
mango falooda: the same. burnt milk/ tasted… spoiled. threw that out too—- and i was there in the restaurant, in real time.
$20. never stepping back in chaai and chaatwala ever again.
awful food, slow service, half of everything was “out of stock”. i was there at 9 pm on a friday, three hours before closing. do not waste your money. if something as simple as BHEL can be so badly done, i wouldn’t want to know what else they are capable of doing.

to management: please, fix this. your establishment hinges on this poor quality. i am genuinely shocked at the 4.5 rating. i really do hope things change, not because i ever plan on coming back. but for the sake of the pgh desi population that desperately needs a taste of home.
suggestion: take your money to bengal kabab house on atwood street. they know what they are doing, and they respect their customer’s time, tastes and money. BKH— i couldn’t recommend it more.
