Like most of JOEY management, CEO Jeff Fuller started his remarkable journey flipping burgers, washing dishes and sweeping floors. It’s called paying your dues, learning from the ground up and understanding what success takes. “If there’s a secret,” he says, “it’s hard work, unwavering commitment to the customer and assembling the very best people.” Jeff absorbed valuable lessons from his family’s successful businesses before striking out on his own with a brand new concept in upscale casual restaurants. The first JOEY opened in 1992 and, as word spread, plans for a second location were quickly in the works. Today there are 27 JOEY Restaurants across Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Seattle and California.

As soon as we arrived, we were very well taken care of. A glass of non-alcoholic sparkling wine was offered to us free of charge. The food was excellent, and everything was cooked to perfection. The team came by several times to make sure everything was perfect for us. The manager asked if there was a special reason we were out that evening, and we told her we were having a girls’ night out for Valentine’s Day. She kindly gave us a complimentary sharing platter. We came to celebrate Chinese New Year and had a wonderful dinner. Our server, Janie, was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. At the end, she surprised us with a celebratory dessert, beautifully plated with celebration text written on it. We were truly delighted! The dishes, as always, were flavorful and consistently impressive. One small note: our appetizer, the miso mushroom, wasn’t as striking as the last time we had it, a little less surprising than expected, but still very tasty overall.

10 out of 10. Exceptional service and absolutely delicious food, everything we tried was fantastic. The atmosphere was lively, with dim lighting and loud music, but still comfortable and manageable. It feels fancy without being too formal. Overall, an outstanding experience, and I’d gladly return to this exact spot rather than try something new. I loved the salad and the crème brûlée.

Greeted with alcohol free sparkling wine before being seated which was nice. Shoutout to Jessica the manager for being very welcoming and accommodating!
Had the crispy prawns for appetizer – 5pcs and it was very good. Very crispy and the sauce drizzled on top had a nice kick to it, however the accompanying salad was overpowered with cilantro.
Peach Bellini was a 10/10.
Steak and sushi was good. Nice presentation.
16oz ribeye was cooked to perfect medium rare. Comes with mashed potatoes but was able to substitute to truffle parm fries without an issue! Veggies were cooked well and were a great side to it all.
For dessert we had the molten chocolate cake which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The outer layer of the cake had a good crunch and flavor, and the middle chocolate fudge created a chocolate overload – great for chocolate lovers but was a bit too much for us. The cake and ice cream really complimented each other well though.

My friends and I went to Joey for dinner and were greeted with free non-alcohol sparkling drinks and led to our table (it was fairly busy but we had a reservation in advance so there was no wait time). The atmosphere was wonderful and our server Daphne, and Claire who helped her, were super welcoming and extremely helpful and knowledgeable with providing suggestions on meals and answering any questions we had about them. They checked in regularly and made our experience especially enjoyable! We shared an appetizer, had a main course and shared desert again afterwards. The crème brûlée cheesecake was definitely recommendable as was the truffle udon carbonara for dinner! We all really enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning in the future 🙂

The food here was amazing. I had the chicken Katsu salad, my wife had farmers market salad, and our son had chicken tenders. We ended our meal with three of their desserts and all the food was some of the best we’ve had anywhere in our travels. All of that would be enough for five stars but our server, Lucia, and the rest of the staff were awesome. Every member of the staff we interacted with was so friendly and quick to attend to us. I imagine that we’ve set the bar too high for our trip to Ottawa by coming here for our first meal. Highly this place for a for a great time! She also surprised us with this great addition to our dessert orders to help our son celebrate his fist trip to Canada.

Grace and Chef Simon are the best! The steak was absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Grace was so kind and kept checking up on us to make sure everything was good. LA was also super friendly and talkative, which made the experience even better. Honestly the best food, the best people, and such a great place overall. ❤️

Came here for a date and it was a lovely experience. Was served non alcoholic sparkling wine upon entrance. The atmosphere was lovely, felt fancy but not snobby and the seating was very comfortable. The choice of music was slightly off putting (pop music) as it didn’t really compliments the vibe of the restaurant itself.
Regardless, the service was great. For a busy Thursday night, our meal came out 10 minutes after ordering. I don’t think I have ever been served that quickly during what seemed to be a rush.
My boyfriend and I both got the Joey burger. It was the Best burger each of us have ever had. It was beautifully crafted, not greasy at all, and every ingredient tasted of high quality. I highly recommend, also considering it is one of the cheaper meals on the menu.
The Joey 75 is delicious! And the Crème Brûlée cheesecake for dessert was an interesting mix of flavours but came together really well.
We were in and out in under an hour since service was so quick, but we were not rushed at all. Great experience and will definitely be coming back

Evan was our server and the best! Outstanding fun service, she made our evening out. Disappointed they don’t have sliders on the menu anymore. Kale salad is delicious. Didn’t really like my happy hour prawns, aoli sauce was spicy. Dessert was soo good. Burgers there are good but get sliders back on the menu. Later in the evebing they bring in a d.j who plays great music all the staff were lovely but Evan was a Rock star
