Grace (the hostess) was so pleasant and kind. My wife and I stopped by without a reservation for our anniversary and she and Chef Lui brought us a slice of cake on the house. Our waitress, Lexi, was very knowledgeable and sweet. I ate ostrich which was amazing, and my wife had ahi tuna which was also delicious. I can’t believe this place is in Vienna, WV! We will definitely be coming back.

Out of town and arrived this evening at Lui Lui with a party of five for a 7:00 pm reservation on a Friday night with no one there. We arrived 15 minutes early and Grace (which the name is not appropriate) yelled at us for being early. We asked if we could sit at the bar and she said No, you sit at table and have drinks, we have no bartender. 3 of appetizers we’re unavailable. 2 wines unavailable. Waiting for our dinner they came back 3 times with in 45 minutes to tell us a salad not available, halibut unavailable and sea bass unavailable. Grace was rude and combative. Like I said it was a7:00 pm reservation. We were from LA, Cincinnati visiting long time friends in Parkersburg. We got up and left and walked pass bar there were people sitting there drinking and eating. When we said there are people at bar . Grace said, “this are my regulars.” The food looked and smelled fantastic. The servers were sweet and nice. Felt for them. Grace on the other hand was horrible. How are you going to have more regulars if you treat your customers rudely. She was not accommodating because they were out of everything we asked for. She yelled at us!!! If I’m ever in the Burg again I will not ever go there but I will go back to Rubi’s. Great friendly service!!
