Stopped tonight after the Christmas parade for out first time. The man (i assume owner) was very friendly, and provided excellent customer service. I didnt know they were cash only, and he told me to go home and eat while its hot. And to come back and pay after. I dropped the pizza off and immediately returned with his money. This place has a great, small town feel. You definitely wouldnt be allowed to leave without paying where I am from. The food was delicious, we got a pepperoni pizza and cheese curds. We will be back!

Our first time here. If you enjoy waiting over an hour for a burnt pizza that’s tougher than cardboard, this is your place! Called to complain and stated that I did not want anything from the call other than to let them know how they were sending out pizzas, and the owner picked up and he said “Tomorrow is my 26 year anniversary, I’m not going to be bogged down by a negative complaint”. So disappointing!!

I’ve known this family for over 50 years and was in the area recently for a pepperoni and sausage pizza to receive a huge burnt spot on bottom. I called them to inform and all I got was ” Im sorry “…Gone are the days when they stood behind their mistakes

The pizza was decent but they should tell you up front that they only take cash or splurge on a chip reader since it’s 2022. By the time I went to the bank to get cash out, my food was ice cold. It was also not what I had ordered when I was finally able to check it but at that point, I was too frustrated and my guests were too hungry for me to address it. We will give them another chance and adjust the review accordingly because we want to support local and everyone has an off day, but hopefully they will do better next time.

Where to begin… they only take cash or check but won’t tell you this until you get there to pick up the food. The girl taking the order was a little rude. The price they charged for what we got did NOT add up to their menu prices and they do NOT give you a receipt to make sense of the price. When I tried to call back about the order they never answered the phone and I called twice. The food was supposed to be fresh and it was lukewarm at best. All together a disappointment and will NOT return.

I called to place an order and the lady was very rude. She snapped when I accidentally said pineapple instead of pepperoni and then I just felt so disrespected I cancelled my order. Not the customer service I expected and I will not support a business that treats their customers this way.

Liola’s is and always has been the best pizza in New York. Home made Italian pizza prices are cheaper then anyone but better tasting then anyone. Liola’s is the place to go for homemade.

I’ve had 100 different pies and Liolas is the best by a long shot. Always my hometown favorite. Old school.. bring cash and don’t forget an antipasto!
