For decades, our hometown pizzeria has been a family tradition. Their pizza? Delicious hot and even better cold the next day. The wings and burgers are top-notch. The place has that old hometown vibe with a bar and a family dining section. Johnny, who recently sold the place, is still there—friendly as ever, knowing his customers. The new owner is keeping everything just as it’s always been. It’s still the heart of our town.

Found this hidden gem in the hills of Pennsylvania on route home to Louisville, KY from weekend of dancing in NYC. Pizza (we got a large thin crust) was so delicious and service from Ronny & Eric was stellar. They made us feel right at home.
PS- If you like a hazy IPA, get a Hellhouse Buffy, a local brewery.

A group of my friends stayed at Mt. Pleasant on a trip and ate here. Overall, this place is decent. The service was fast and inexpensive, but the pizza was a little mid. The crust was uneven and the dough seemed pre-made, yet the overall taste was satisfactory. Here’s a new picture of the menu as of 2026.

It takes me almost 2 hours to travel to get this pizza. I have been making the trip for 20 years and it has been consistent every time. This isn’t your everyday typical chain pizza. This pizza has a flaky delicious homemade crust that isn’t too thick but also isn’t too thin. The red sauce is savory with a hint of sweetness. The cheese gets a perfectly crunchy texture, I recommend getting extra as it is a little sparse. The serving sizes of the fried appetizers is very small. The waitress was friendly and the beer was top notch! All in all, this is one of my favorite pizza joints and not just because of the nostalgia.

Open until 10 pm, this was one of the few places still open in the area when we pulled into town. It’s look and feel is similar to the average local pizza shop. There’s no draft beer, only bottles. The server was very attentive, even chatty. That made for a good experience. The food is pretty good. The house salad dressing was delicious and made the salad, which, by itself was uber ordinary (a big bowl of iceberg lettuce with onion and a couple of tomato pieces). I thought the pizza good. It had a thin crust that didn’t droop, a lot of flavorful sauce, and toppings right up to the edge of the crust. My wife thought the toppings scanty.

We love the salads with the house dressing! That dressing is so good! We always get the pizza which we love, but we recently got some burgers, wings, and a hot sausage sandwich which were all very good! A man sitting next to us had french fries with cheese sauce, bacon, and jalapenos which looked really good! We will have to try that next time. The prices on the food and drinks are very reasonable especially in this economy. We’ve been coming here since the 70’s and the pizza tastes the same! In addition to the normal crust they’ve always had they added a thin and thick crust which are nice options to have. Oh and the white pizza is delicious if you like garlic! The owner said they’ve been in business for 50 years – 1975! We love the place!

Today would’ve been my dad’s 73rd birthday. He passed away in June so I came and picked up a pizza to celebrate him. Him and my whole family have always loved your food and I just wanted to thank you for always delivering some of the best pizza in town!
