We went on Sunday night, EMPTY! The service was awful. We had to leave our seats to get the servers to ask for service several times. We ordered salad and was brought out cooked veggies. I asked for the snapper filet to be fried and it was roasted or baked. when I asked about it, the guy became rude and defensive. We come twice a year with numerous groups; and unless we hear from management we will not be back. Also, we had to come into the building, walk through and yell for someone to greet us. The response was “I just got here”. BAD Business.

The meatball and eggplant appetizers were outstanding.
The lasagna was very good and my wife had the lobster ravioli which she raved about.

We walked 2Km back and forth on that main road with lots of restaurants on December 24, 2025 before we found Amore. And what a jewel of a restaurant. My wife had the fish of the day – Red Snapper deep fried with sides of cooked vegetables and mushrooms. I had the broiled Snapper Fillet with sides of mashed potatoes and sweet plantains (maduros). I asked to meet the chef to congratulate on the outstanding quality of the dishes. My wife, whom I call “the littlest chef” was unusually quiet for the dinner because she was too busy enjoying the food. The chef could not meet us because he was busy preparing meals for other guests. Yes, we too got up to get the waitress for questions we had. Small price for a wonderful dinner and anyway her service was terrific as well. The absolute best dinner in Sint Maarten.

What a great experience at Amore! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with plenty of food options to choose from. We especially loved the lobster bisque – so flavorful! The brownie for dessert was the perfect sweet ending. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless. Highly recommend this place for a delicious meal and a great dining experience!

This restaurant seems more attractive to have dinner instead of lunch. The ambiance and atmosphere was pleasant. My company and I dined for a lunch and was satisfied with our experience. For the appetizer we chose the Caesar and Bang bang shrimps. For the entree I had the mushroom risotto and they chose the pizza. The crust on the pizza was spectacular! The risotto was okay but a bit overly salted. The drinks were delicious! The waitstaff and speed was great. The food came out Hot ! This is a restaurant I would return to but would have to request no to light salt to be spared.

Servers were great. Prices were ok fine. But man. The cook makes the blandest and worst Italian food we have ever had. Spaghetti I am sure was chef boyardee straight from a can. Again. Servers were great. Along with drinks. But no good for food quality. Maybe if it were a fast food joint. But even then I would not repeat visit. Shame cause we enjoyed a lot of great meals on our vacation. This is the pizza. Enjoy

I couldn’t recommend this place more. Tangy was so inviting and warm from the moment we stepped food in the place. The food was spectacular. I had the lobster bisque and my husband had the seafood soup. The hookah was great and the drinks were amazing too! Definitely stop by here if you’re in the area.
