We eat here often as we live in the area. Food is typically good. Sometimes if you order hibachi they give you teriyaki chicken. Main issue is the guy who works the front. He’s always so rude on the phone and when I go in person. He hardly speaks and mumbles when he does speak, so I can’t ever hear what he’s saying. If I call an order in, he rushes me off the phone and I never know if he’s taken the order down properly. He never asks for a name or tells you the price of your order, just hangs up. I wish they’d find someone else.

I was just passing through Tabor City and happened to stop by — and I’m so glad I did! The food was surprisingly super good. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the way everything came together created an amazing blend that left a lasting impression. It’s a shame I was only in town briefly, because this spot definitely deserves a return visit. I just wish you were in Tampa — you’d be my go-to!

The food is really good but there’s only a few issues I have. It says they close at 9 pm but they’re always closing around 8 pm now. Please update your google open times or just stay open until 9 pm. Another thing is that everytime I call in for sushi, they NEVER have it. At least make a menu telling the time or day you have it please. Other then that it’s good food I just wish they would be a little more consistent.

Food was delicious! We had a volcano roll and Hawaiian roll special ordered to be deep fried. The sushi rolls were awesome and beautiful! We also had the hibachi chicken bowl which was delicious. The mayo sauce was outstanding! The chef came out and talked with us. The owner George came out and introduced himself. We had a great conversation with both gentleman! They both made sure we were satisfied customers. Very clean and neat inside and out. This will be our go to sushi restaurant from now on!

I noticed first that it was very clean in the restaurant. I was skeptical about the food after getting junk the last few times. It’s hard to find good food that make you happy instead of satisfying a hunger. This is my first time and I hope and pray they keep they keep up the great standards. The food is better tonight than my last 3 times at toyko express. The portions are larger and the price was $5 less than what I pay at Tokyo
