After reading all the reviews, decided on the salmon cheese steak with fries. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was delicious! Bread was soft, sandwich was loaded with salmon, broccoli and some cheese. The fish was very well seasoned and had some zing. Sandwich was $20 and could easily feed two people or one with leftovers.

We finally got a seafood/soul food spot in town that opened this weekend! Stopped in last night for this but they had ran out (good for them ) so made it my business to go earlier today. The salmon cheesesteak and fries from Irene’s Place are a yesssss!! I added my own jerk BBQ sauce to it after I took these pics and babyyyy

Please tell me why I ordered 1/2 a dozen shrimp and got 5. It would be nice to see a black owned restaurant actually last in an area like this. Let’s focus on getting the correct QUANTITY of food to the customers. $16 for 5 shrimp and fries is a joke!

Ordered the 1/2 crabs and 1/2 shrimp combo and realized when I got home that it never came with the corn and potatoes like it was supposed to. Customer service via ordering on the phone and in-person wasn’t very friendly. Maybe it was an off day, but it didn’t leave me totally enthused to return right away.

My husband and I had the honey garlic wings, chicken cheesesteak, and the fish hoagie for lunch and we were very pleased. The honey garlic wings were tremendous and on par if not better than the wings at Dolsot House. Everything was delicious. We can’t wait to try the crabs next. One small pet peeve is that we waited longer than expected but not a big problem when you realize how homemade and good the food is.
