The Boondocks is a family friendly restaurant and pub. It has a small town cozy rustic atmosphere, incredible food, a beautiful outdoor, pet friendly dining patio, video games for kids and Oregon lottery for adults. We are located close to the shores of the Little Luckiamute River and pride ourselves on community involvement. We are LGBTQ friendly & value diversity. Owners Lori & Laura do their best to make sure every visit is welcoming and enjoyed. Lori is a natural born cook & makes alot of the food home made. She cooks the best steak on the planet & insures every bite of food is yummy and flavorful. Laura runs the front of the house and welcomes each guest as a friend. The staff is friendly, courteous & attentive.

I’ve eaten there 4 times now, I feel I have an educated opinion. Bar service Is fantastic, Kitchen is horrible!
I ordered the meatloaf, which was a brick. I’ve ordered a cheeseburger, Which was also a brick. I’ve Had multiple other items which were also extremely overcooked, Dry and to be honest, horrible!

You know you don’t get much better than Laura. She’s a one of a kind type of gal that you only meet once in your lifetime. You come in, I know off the beaten path but go with it and what an experience. $8 dollar burger with fries! In Oregon!!! Hell yeah… We missed this place for many years, shame on us. Make sure to visit Laura at Boondocks next time your out this way… It’s a win win…

️ A comfortable safe space, staff, everyone actually in town who referred this popular locals place was friendly and service from sitting down to leaving was a wonderful experience. The sandwich was fresh and tasted amazing. Traveling solo I appreciated a welcoming place, with comfort food, small town warm hospitality and a very comfortable atmosphere. Definately will be stopping to support this small town vibe whenever I travel near the area!

If you are looking for a fancy restaurant with a hostess to seat you, this is not the place. If you are looking for a home town restaurant with a family type atmosphere this is the place. Come planning to stay for a while. It takes a long time to get your steak, but well worth the wait (I think you can order your steak before you get there). The servers were very friendly and helpful, they did an excellent job. They didn’t have baked potatoes but they do have loaded mashed potatoes. Their hamburgers are 1/2 lb. I will definitely go back!

It takes two tough women to entertain and feed this town 🙂 every other Saturday night there is karaoke and it’s a blast. Taco Thursday is awesome.. 1 dollar a taco. Couple of video lottery machines and a back patio for the smoker crowd.
