Try the raspberry white chocolate scone, it tastes home made in a good way. The Dubai Mocha is great too. I think they use dark chocolate which makes it not overly sweet.
During my second visit, however, the experience was slightly less polished. I was served a bakery item cold without being asked whether I would prefer it warmed and my coffee was provided in a to-go paper cup rather than a ceramic mug, despite my intention to sit and enjoy the coffee.
The shop is spacious and inviting, with ample seating that makes it a comfortable place to spend time.
Would still return when around the area next time.
I visited Milkhouse Coffee today with my daughter, but my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a serious safety issue. As we approached the entrance, I slipped on the ice in the parking lot and fell hard while trying to protect my child from injury.
Upon entering, I immediately sought assistance from the manager. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy, I was met with indifference. She told me that she had already been told about the icy conditions in the parking lot. I pointed out the hazardous conditions were still a risk, and the manager responded dismissively, mentioning how busy they were and that salt had been applied earlier, but I pointed out that it was only in limited areas (by the front door) not their complete parking lot.
There was no apology or acknowledgment of the seriousness of my fall, leaving me feeling unheard and unvalued as a customer.
In light of this, I chose to take my business next door to a nearby restaurant instead, as I didn’t feel comfortable spending my money at a place that doesn’t prioritize customer safety. As I left, the manager’s snarky comment thanking us for coming in did nothing to alleviate my frustration. It felt more like an attempt to brush off my concerns rather than a genuine expression of customer care. The lack of urgency to rectify the dangerous conditions in the parking lot is concerning, especially since I noticed an hour later that the ice remained on the ground, and the parking lot still hadn’t been salted.
I hope this feedback prompts a review of safety protocols and customer service practices at Milkhouse Coffee. Customers deserve to feel safe and valued.
They have a good selection of baked goods and breakfast sandwiches/bagels.
There are also little games for kids and adults.
The coffee was good and tasty.
Firstly I would like to mention is the ambiance, the moment I entered the cafe I can feel the Christmas vibe and the rustic farm vibe !! I uploaded a video for you all!!
We ordered cappuccino coffee, hot mug cocoa with whole milk, oatmeal cookie, blueberry scone. I can’t complain all of them are yummy coffee: I love enjoyed each sip until the last. I can smell the freshly made coffee it’s feels like a heaven in this weather ❄️
This place is very inconsistent and the staff are sometimes friendly, sometimes not, they are very young , but please & thank you is always nice. Their breakfast sandwiches are three out of five stars, pretty bland at times. I order the same drink every time and it’s never the same. Can’t wait till they open the bridge back up ad I can go to my normal spot.
