Good food, understaffed bar, and surprisingly high drink prices.

• The Service: On a Friday at 7:30 PM, the host stand had a line . Sitting at the bar was my best choice for quicker service, though they clearly need more bartenders.

• The Food: The oysters were great, but at nearly $4 each, I expected the staff to be better educated on the selection.

• The Bill: I was shocked by the $17.95 Tito’s & Club. For comparison, I paid $11.75 for the exact same drink just a few doors down at Club 360.

Total for 6 oysters and one drink was $50 (including tip). It’s a busy, trendy spot, but the pricing feels a bit steep for what you get.

Liberty Bell Gastropub – Parx Casino – Was visiting the Parx casino and came here for dinner. Huge place with a full bar and an entrance to the beer garden. Service was great and very friendly. Food was very good as well. The rotisserie chicken hot and honey was delicious. The wings were great. No one left hungry or thirsty! #pub #beer #hashtagstevej #cocktails #parx

Service is a toss up at the tables better off sitting at the bar with a pleasant bartender -Damon. Good for prime rib on Wednesday. Decent happy hour burgers. Good selection of beer.

This place was calm, and clean. But…. The hostess looked so sad with a blink expression on her face, this carried over to her disposition. We ordered Rotisserie chicken salad, Salmon and mashed potatoes with the Jerk chicken appetizer.

The Jerk chicken was brought out and after enjoying it we realized we were not given napkins. We asked the bus boy and he couldn’t find any and then reached over and grabbed some rough paper napkins from over the bar. These napkins that’s used to place glasses on smelled horrible. Our food was placed on the table and everything looked good but we were never given any utensils lol.

We did enjoy the Jerk chicken wings, the Mashed potatoes were good and hearty, the Salmon and 2 Asparagus with 4 String beans weren’t bad even though it was cold. They gave very little Rotisserie chicken on the salad and it was diced up so small it began to taste like tune lol.

Our waitress Destiny kept disappearing for long periods of time. Our food got cold while waiting and standing around looking for anyone to help.

The atmosphere was nice, and perhaps our unfavorable experience may have been isolated on the wrong night at the wrong time.

If you decide to stop by Parx casino check them out. Let us know.

We came here for dinner and sat at the bar and this was an okay experience. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The food was poor to mediocre overall. The seafood chowder was quite tasty to be honest. However, the French onion soup was a touch too sweet. The fish and chips look great, but the fish was overcooked and soggy – not edible. The prime rib was okay – a touch overcooked and missing seasoning.

Maybe it was an off night

We went tonight to the pub for dinner prior to attending a concert at the excite center. Had reservations for 6:15. We were seated at 6:18. Got to our table and waited 10 minutes before server acknowledged us. Ordered an app and 2 drinks from the bar. Put in our order and drinks. Sat for another 20 minutes before my husband finally got up to get our drinks sitting at the bar waiting for server to pick up. The manger met my husband at the bar and brought drinks over. We then sat for 35 minutes waiting for appetizer. They finally brought out the appetizer and my dinner but, not my husband’s. I waited another 15 minutes to see when his sandwich would arrive. My husband finally got our server’s attention and asked where his pastrami Sandwich was. She apologized and said manager was checking. 10 minutes more and no sandwich. We told the server, just get check, forget sandwich and call manager. He came over about 10 minutes after. He apologized and said so sorry. I have been in the hospitality business for 30 years. I am so disappointed in how our server and management handled everything. We were sitting in plain view of all of them and they just ignored. I understand the business and know when things are busy. But, they had enough staff and plenty of management on duty to support. I have been here before, was excited to go again and was shocked at how horrible the experience was. Will not return again!

We ate in the Beer Garden here (which has the same menu but is set up as a different dining area) and it was very nice.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the food was very good. I particularly liked the French Onion soup, which was among the best I’ve ever had.

I would definitely recommend the Liberty Bell Gastropub or Beer Garden for a meal!

Our entrées were great, and the service was good as well. The cocktail I ordered was just perfect – the right amount of sweetness and alcohol content, but not overpowering. The pork chop was thick, tender and juicy. The fried chicken was on point and the creamed spinach was good. Not great, but good. I would’ve preferred for it to be a little bit cheesier, but it was a vegetable side dish and not a dip. The cheesesteak dumpling was different and delicious. I didn’t have high expectations after reading the reviews, but everything worked out very well for us!

Had a stellar experience last night at the Beergarden. We loved everything from the food to the service to the overall atmosphere. Our server, Jordyn, was phenomenal and really stood out as an exemplar of a consummate professional while dealing with the Friday night crowds.

Food is a touch expensive, but portions are sizable and it’s to be expected at a casino

My boyfriend and I went here Saturday night and sat at the bar for dinner and drinks. The older gentleman bartender was miserable, didn’t greet us at all while he was putting dishes away. Another busy bartender went to him and said “that couple needs service, they’ve been sitting here” he looked up and said “well I’m busy!” We waited over 20 min and no one greeted us at all. We left! I’m disappointed, and will not be returning.
